“Israel has the right to defend itself” has taken a different meaning now. It is said to tongue in cheek.
Netanyahu will do whatever it takes to remain in power. Keeping Israel in a state of war including attacking Iran is part of his game plan. Iran is not Hamas.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be reading from the Israel script book on how to deal with terrorism. He has hinted on executing stringent and disproportionate measures on Kashmir and Pakistan following the horrific attacks on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
