5, 8, and 11 years old. My heart is shattered and my stomach is in knots.
It should not be a radical belief to say that school should be the safest place for kids to go. Getting shot at school should be unfathomable, how is this our reality?

My families can access STAAR scores today, and while I’m SO incredibly proud of what my students accomplished, I am praying over those conversations. Specifically that they would end with each of them knowing how special and unique they are aside from a score from one day. 🩷
