Signal detected: @farcaster_xyz Type: project update Network School @ns by @balajis acquires Farcaster. Farcaster becomes the Network State Protocol. protocol stays open to everyone; the app gets moderated, a community for techno-optimists with a Singapore-like standard for public conduct. every user picks: vote to stay or vote to leave. staying mints an onchain NFT, a vote for the Network School core team to set the app's rules. seen this pattern before: open protocol → moderated app → opt-in community. Action: vote and mint NFT

a small update to the Trenches dashboard new page: Top Trenches. the coins behind the trench volume, on one bubble map hover over a coin to see its numbers, or open the whole list as a table we also cleaned the data. stablecoins and wrapped tokens no longer count filters now leave out farm launches on BSC and Base the volume chart now has an RSI

we needed to know whether the signals outperformed the market. a trusted comparison is how we filter noise, and how later changes learn from outcomes. $JENSEN by @GrailCo was found on 15 September. we followed the next 7 days against BTC, ETH and cash over the same hours we beat 93.8% of 10,000 chance books built the same way. the 2x hit rate is almost double the baseline when the method changes, past runs like $JENSEN are replayed first. our target is 95% against that same baseline. that replay is the learning loop. quality has to show up on the paper book first: better results, more winners caught.

how good are AI models at onchain research? our token research works out what a token is, who built it, who holds it and who talks about it, plus security checks we had to pick a model for it: the best results for the least money and time so we tested 12 Claude and GPT models at different effort levels on the same 20 past tokens the data stayed fixed, so only the model changed the task: find 245 known facts and avoid 62 traps, claims that sound true but are not two AI judges graded all 520 runs without knowing which model ran them results - Claude Opus 5.5 at high effort scored best: 64.2 out of 100, at $2.55 and 5 min 14 s per research - Opus 5.5 at medium scored 59.8 in 3 min 41 s, at $1.95 - GPT-6.1 Sol at medium scored 60.8 for $0.80, but took 6 min 46 s - GPT-6 Luna was the cheapest, at 13 to 16 cents, and scored 51 to 53 what we learned - a higher price did not mean higher quality: Fable 5.1 scored 60.9 at $5.54, Haiku 5.5 scored 60.1 at $0.41 - finding facts and avoiding traps are different skills: Opus 5.5 at high found the most facts but fell for 5 traps, GPT-6 Astra and the Sol models for fewer than 2 - more effort can hurt: Haiku 5.5 at high scored 8 points below medium - token use varies a lot within one family: Haiku 5.5 at medium wrote 78k tokens per research, 5 times as many as Opus 5.5 at medium, for about the same score - with 20 tokens, only gaps above about 5 points are more than noise which models do you use for onchain research?

Signals we spent the week on the signals lots of backtests, hunting for leaks, then tightening the filter farms get flagged now, same as rugs we've built various models so we can tell how the signals actually perform GPs have been loud about what to fix Trenches volume stopped counting farm launches. fear and greed now follows smallcap volume Fair wiki the agents got a wiki covering launchpads, farm patterns and past rugs Next: a new product that will speed up your research

we've been on the signals all month. making them better is the whole job two things we are solving farms: launches that look organic and aren't. this week those checks sit in front of a post. what we found while building that is going into a research piece coverage: we catch about 30% of the good tokens. one winner covers the losers, so that number has to go up we've also started experimenting with Jev by @typesafeai. it makes the system faster, and it gives every signal a second read: project or meme, and what the contract owner can actually do now we gathering feedback from GPs

we've spent a long time on signals and paper strategies. the last stretch has been encouraging right now Fair runs five strategies at once. signals are getting better: 56 priced in 10 days, 27 hit 2x we are catching about 30% of the runners. we can push that up best wins: $PYRE 7.4x, $JENSEN 6.4x, $TOOLS 5.9x, $MUSEWORLD 5.8x we will open access to GPs slowly to gather feedback the job now is to filter the bad ones and make this feel like a product, not an internal prototype

one more chain for the morning check Trenches Pulse now tracks @BNBCHAIN, next to Ethereum, Base, Solana and Robinhood Chain wallet counts are stricter. volume is cleaner. see which chain has the most attention today ↓

speed is not cosmetic for financial agents when sourcing, research, risk checks and decisions run across several models, latency compounds at every step Jev could compress that entire loop, letting Fair evaluate more opportunities against deeper evidence while the decision still matters we joined the waitlist. very keen to test this one
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

what moved forward at Fair this week signals has been rebuilt and is running in private testing. we hope to open early access to General Partners soon three new products are taking shape, built to give agents and people a stronger intelligence layer: spot potential winners earlier, find where independent signals converge and filter the noise paper strategies are being tested against those opportunities. the attached image is our latest internal snapshot, using selected calls and fixed 24-hour exits before costs. these are recorded paper results, not live fund performance onchain sourcing is getting richer project context and clearer risk framing, while scouts season 1 moves closer to deployment
