Never underestimate the amount of wealth that was produced on the backs of outright fraud.

Since I worked on this speech, I'll just point out that this part was left out of the clip: "We must allow undocumented immigrants to come out of the shadows and step on a path toward full participation in our society. In fact, I will not support any bill that does not provide this earned path to citizenship for the undocumented population--not just for humanitarian reasons; not just because these people, having broken the law, did so for the best of motives, to try and provide a better life for their children and their grandchildren; but also because this is the only practical way we can get a handle on the population that is within our borders right now." If Republicans would now like to support the immigration proposals that Obama and other Dems advocated back in 2006, we could actually get something done.
It is incredible how far the Democratic Party has moved politically. Just listen to @BarackObama on immigration 20 years ago. @HillaryClinton spoke similarly back then. The question of course is why. The answer I believe is not a change in fundamental views, but rather a tactical one. At some point, the Democratic Party believed it had a higher likelihood of staying in power if our country had open borders. When did this take place? What was the catalyst for this reversal of views?

There will never be a time in human history where money does not matter.
“Money won’t matter in 2036,” claims @elonmusk on the latest episode of The Insider. He tells @zannymb, The Economist’s editor-in-chief, how people will live when AI and robots can do every job and why he expects deflation, not inflation: bit.ly/4b9UPYK

We should be worried about the pace of AI advancement…also just as worried that our current crop of politicians don’t know what they’re doing or talking about. Reactionary policy often causes more problems than it solves.
Rep Moran and I introduced the AI Kill Switch Act today. This is urgent, common sense legislation to address the problem of an advanced AI model that has gone rogue and escaped its guardrails (OpenAI / Hugging Face incident) or had insufficient guardrails (Mythos 5 and Fable 5).

The @espn layoffs are are so in-the-moment. Layoff swathes of people near the bottom so you can pay 1 person at the top $60M

Now post Trumps speech transcript from today. I’m sure it will instill great confidence and reassurance…proof that America first, means America reads at a first grade level. xitter.cf/juddrosenblatt/status/…

I'm pretty sure that @AnthropicAI Changed its classifiers because of this fable nonsense. It honestly gets in the way, and just doesn't do as much as it used to. Seriously considering moving to GPT models now.

Boring all star game, and way too little exposure to the best player in baseball at the break, @Cubs PCA. Fan voting is dumb.

New research! Some AI capabilities are both helpful and dangerous. E.g., knowledge of virology can be used to create life-saving vaccines or deadly pathogens. We introduce GRAM, a training method that puts dual-use capabilities (like virology) into removable modules.

I've been unable to verify last year's taxes via phone with the IRS for weeks now. What a shitshow. This feels like a scam to keep my money and the interest being accrued on it.

For one, why do I need to verify anything via the phone in 2026?

Glad to see things are so efficient after massive layoffs in early 2025. Who initiated these layoffs? #DOGE.
