Over the years, I’ve been taking notes, linking them to one another, saving their references, and occasionally turning them into short texts. I’ve started sharing them on my website fahrio.com.
Check it out, and if you find something interesting, let me know 👋😃
An outside description can never fully capture an inner life, but I believe literature and the arts are our best means of communicating it. As AI gets better at this, I suspect we’ll be mistaking its ability to convey an inner life for evidence that it has one.

You open X and information just appears. You have no idea why you're seeing any of it. Refresh the page and it's all different. No reasoning. No accountability.
When agent-mediated discovery becomes the norm, this will feel as primitive as flipping through random TV channels.
I once met a big boulder that was on a journey around the world. It was sitting in a field beside a friend’s house, just north of Berlin. It came a long way from up north, likely carried by a glacier during the last ice age, about 15,000 years ago. The villagers cherished it.
I wrote about “time”, and how thinking about trees, mountains, and stones can shift our sense of it.

I asked GPT to go back and count it up!
From “I think I can do this with AI” to a game in the App Store, it took roughly 130 hours across 42 days, 632 messages across 130 chats.
Prototype, UI, face and motion detection, robot expressions, audio, testing, website, submissions…
I designed and built Cheeky Sneaky mainly with OpenAI’s Codex. I have never built an iOS game before; AI made it possible, but it still took a month of on-and-off work. All the decisions and little details that make something feel finished still take time!
Dear parent friends, friends of parents,
I’ve been working on a kids’ game that transforms your room into a sneaking mission. Turn your iPhone or Mac into a camera-powered robot guard. Put a toy beside it, have kids sneak across the room and grab the toy without getting caught.
Dear parent friends, friends of parents,

It’s called Cheeky Sneaky, and I’m looking for parents and kids to help me test it.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes. Is it clear how to set it up and play, does the robot feel fair, and is it actually fun? :)

I've been eager to read "The Mountain in the Sea" by Ray Nayler and finally brought it on holiday in Türkiye. It pleasantly begins with a depiction of Turkish tea, coffee, and breakfast culture, exploring themes of communication, intelligence, and octopuses—so good!

Kevin Munger explains how Vilém Flusser's media theory argues that we are shifting from a world centered around linear, text-based thinking to one that is more visual and interconnected.
This shift, according to Flusser, has profound implications for society and human communication.
Saw this at the “Poetics of Encryption” exhibition at KW Berlin yesterday. It assembles various concepts around value extraction in the internet and social networks—definitely worth a watch.
