The fact that we went through a studio shutdown, restart, engine change, and game reboot and we're still here, wanting to do right by the franchise and the fans.
We get it. You want the sequel. Good news is that it's coming in 2027. We showed it at Summer Games Fest and to press over the summer. Thanks for you understanding and your support.

Chemistry is easier to understand when you can actually see the differences.
In Gauth Academy, Infinite Mode uses 3D visuals to compare alkali metal atoms side by side, making periodic trends and atomic structure easier to follow.

You're confusing patriarchal naming traditions with biology. Your daughter carries your DNA too, & passes her mitochondrial DNA to ALL her children.Your son can't pass his mitochondrial DNA to his. What are you even talking about?Do women stop being your bloodline when they marry?

Haha. How does a daughter continues the family lineage 😂? The daughter gets married, so she goes away. The son marries, so he remains in the family tree

Dressmaker is for the people who grew up playing Stardoll, Doll Divine, Azalea’s Dolls, My Scene, Dressupgames dot com, Barbie & Bratz fashion games, Lala Loopsy & Polly Pocket games, etc etc.
It’s actually a huge demographic that games should target more!
I’m gonna cry we are so back!!

I want to start this off by saying how much I love Brawlhalla and I really hope the game lives for a long time and has an amazing competitive scene. With that being said the game is in a horrible spot and has been since 2023. I tried my hardest to play the game and continue to compete in 2024 because I still had many friends playing and trying to improve. I had gotten a desktop for the first time in the middle of 2024 and got my first top 32 in 1s right before BCX where I got 65th and 33rd in 2s.
In 2025 I put my everything I went to every event and competed in every single 1s and 2s major (besides spring 1v1s). Snapdash ruined the game for me because it killed all neutral in 1v1s leading me to entirely stop playing 1v1s after I got top 32. Despite this I still really enjoyed 2v2s because snapdash really didn't change that game mode as much. I played my heart out that year and no matter what anyone says I know I reached a skill level of being capable of top 8ing in 2v2s. I played with a different teammate almost every tournament and was capable of placing deep into the top 32 bracket. I know if I had found a consistent teammate I would've placed a lot higher likely getting a top 8. With that being said I am so proud of myself (and Genga who is now Jenga LOL) for placing t32 at BCX and becoming a BCX Finalist. This was truly the highlight of my Brawlhalla career and everyone that saw me play that day knows how good I was playing (especially hammer lol). After BCX I really wanted to go into 2026 strong and try to finally get that top 8 that I believed myself capable of achieving, but the truth is I couldn't force myself to play the game anymore.
For the past 2 years we had entered a horrible meta with snapdash that truly killed my enjoyment for the game. On top of snapdash and balance issues the way tournaments have been run in terms of seeding and Power Rankings is horrible. 2026 has been the least competitive Brawlhalla season I have ever witnessed primarily due to the challenger mode bracket system and the terrible PR weight given to the Midseason Championship. We have players who were barely capable of making it out of pools being seeded top 50 or higher in major tournaments with people who have multiple top 32s and even top 8s being seeded 100+. This leads to issues where we have bracket paths so stacked with underseeded players that a top 32 player can get 65th while another bracket path could have complete noobs fighting for top 32. Not only is this terrible for the tournament at hand but it THEN CHANGES the PR/Seeding of the NEXT event and snowballs into these terribly inaccurate Power Rankings as well as horrible seeding for the next event. If you miss an event you might as well give up playing the game until next year because you are now rolling the dice for the rest of the year if your bracket will put you in one of those previously mentioned paths I had given. Another thing that the brawlhalla TOs don't understand is that no one wants to be double eliminated especially at a LAN event. They still haven't figured out that every other platform fighter uses rematch avoidance to prevent double jeopardy for the losers bracket WHICH BRAWLHALLA DID AS WELL BEFORE CHALLENGER MODE. I don't understand how they haven't figured this out yet or fixed it, the only thing I can assume is that it is intentional which is just blatantly horrible TOing. There are a lot more things that go into the TO side of things that I could complain about but those are the main things maybe I will go more into detail another time.
The next major problem I have had with the game is balancing. The game has been in a constant state of passive play where moving around and not attacking until the other player whiffs has become the meta. Whenever there is a weapon that can attack first/cover it's whiff with another move it instantly becomes the best most overwhelming weapon in the game. Brawlhalla suffers from horrible game design which is not entirely their fault because they are trying to keep the game as simple as possible. However, there have been no meaningful attempts to actually fix the problem of passive play that has plagued the game for years. The balance of weapons has done nothing but make the game MORE passive. Another issue with the balance is that whenever a weapon is underplayed/not represented at the top level the balance team automatically assumes it is because the weapon is bad EVERY SINGLE TIME which inevitably leads to the weapon becoming overpowered leading to this endless cycle of useless buffs/nerfs that change nothing.
The "top players" who have no idea what they are talking about half of the time complaining about insignificant things that need to be buffed/nerfed and the worst part about it all is that the developers actually listen to them. We have these "top players" who have no understanding of what makes a good fighting game commenting on the meta and what needs to change or what should happen with the game but have never played or been good at another fighting game let alone a another platform fighter. But when people actually make good suggestions such as Sandstorm wanting to add bindable attacks for keyboard, or me asking for C-Stick to be bindable on controller...we are ignored for the reason of "The game needs to stay simple". The devs wanting to keep Brawlhalla "simple" is them keeping the game passive. The dex stat change was an okay change that ultimately did nothing but invalidate a few stance selections for a few specific characters. Super stances were probably the most notable positive balance change to happen in the entire game's history allowing so many characters to be more viable in 1s and 2s. The issue is that it is just too little too late.
The last but also the main reason I have decided to stop competing in Brawlhalla is the community. Almost none of the players that play this game competitively care about actually getting better. They simply want to grow their ego and look down on everyone else that is "worse" than them. I have been around long enough to witness so much toxicity (which I was a part of at some point as well) in the community that I no longer want to interact. Everyone talks behind each other's backs, everyone is constantly egoing each other:
"I am too good to play with x"
"X only placed because of their bracket"
"X was carried by their teammate".
Honestly, I am just tired of the immature terrible community that comes with Brawlhalla's competitive scene. When I was PR 28 before BCX I was struggling to find a teammate because everyone was trying to ego me in NA. I had to team with someone from another region because no one around my level wanted to even run some games with me. In the end I adapted and outplaced most of them but the fact that I had to look outside of NA to find a reliable teammate as top 30 PR is crazy. This is obviously the most subjective part of my post and I understand that I am not entitled to play with someone because I am good at the game. I just am adding this for context to show the extent of egos in this community.
In all honesty there are a lot more issues I have with the game I could be here all day talking about this but it would all be in vain because nothing is actually going to change. That is the conclusion I have come to and the reason why I am stepping away from the game, because no one with the power to change anything will read this and actually care or try to fix anything I have said. I am sure many people will read this and call me a complainer or disagree with what I am saying, but I believe everything I have said is true and I am writing this in good faith with the honest hope that things improve and that the game evolves.
