Spanish unicorn @factorialapp built an agent across 25+ products for 17k+ customers.
The toughest part: configuring perms to access HR data. They had the agent call the same GraphQL API as the frontend, essentially inheriting user permissions.

The company, founded in 2016 in Barcelona by @jordiromero, @bernatfarrero, and Pau Ramon Revilla, has built an AI workforce operations platform is supporting more than 16k companies across 90+ countries.
Today it announced a $150m Series D at $2.5bn valuation led by @generalcatalyst (@pranavsinghvi ), who have also committed an additional $540m through its Customer Value Fund.
AMAZING news for one of the top companies coming out of Spain.

Having raised $150 million at a $2.5 billion valuation, Factorial (@factorialapp) CEO Jordi Romero (@jordiromero) says the AI era won't be defined by fewer workers, but by dramatically more productive ones:
"AI allows people to do more, which makes people more valuable, which makes me want to have more people, not fewer people."
"We're not the same 1,700 people that we were months ago. We're actually more people. So the headcount is growing."
"We're leaning towards the people that we believe can do 3x, 5x, 10x what we could do per human just one year ago."
After crossing $100 million ARR, Factorial (@factorialapp) CEO Jordi Romero (@jordiromero) says the company is leaving its SaaS playbook behind and rebuilding around AI agents:
"We don't care about the SaaS anymore."
"We succeeded in SaaS and now we're killing the SaaS company and being born again. We're only shipping agents."
"We're doing everything with full native AI operations internally, in customer support, sales, SDR, partnerships, the whole thing."

Barcelona's Factorial raised €129M in a Series D, pushing its valuation to €2.1 billion. General Catalyst led the round with Atomico and Four Rivers joining. On top of that, GC is putting up to €465M more behind the company through non dilutive growth capital.
