Don’t be like me. I just learned a very expensive lesson from @AmericanAir .. I chose a #nonrefundable #flight thinking that the world was getting better and they won’t #refund me only a #credit to be used by 12/21 even with the current circumstances.

@AmericanAir Imagine calling in to cancel flights and request a refund because of the uptick in #COVID19 cases and being told that you won’t get a #refund,only a #credit that has to be used in a year or you lose your money. How does that make sense?

@AmericanAir I just called to cancel flights that I had scheduled for an upcoming vacation next month to Colombia.I’m unfortunately canceling due to the spike in COVID 19 cases worldwide I was told that I would not get a #refund only a #credit. I’m an extremely unhappy customer.
