I’m in the Punch Tavern Fleet St. The pub previously on this site was called the Crown and Sugar Loaf, but was renamed as the Punch Tavern in the 1840s, as Punch magazine had its office nearby at that end of Fleet Street. It was rebuilt by the architects Saville & Martin in 1894.

On spygate, if their whistleblower was an ex Saints employee, why did we not make more of an argument as to why he did not bring it to the attention of the EFL earlier? It’s obviously wrong what Saints did but if it was raised after the Oxford game then who knows what punishment?

Can only assume we are appealing due to a double punishment, one applies to this season and the points deduction for next. If this happens at Easter the points deduction wouldn’t have mattered as we would still be in playoffs. Idiots all involved.

This is sad news. He was active on here up to a year or so ago. Some classic Spider-Man stories were written by him I read growing up.

Gerry Conway has sadly passed away at the age of 73. Conway is known for co-creating The Punisher, Spider-Noir, and Ms Marvel. He also wrote “The Night Gwen Stacy Died.”
