To my defence I did say technically there was nothing wrong with Vingegaard's ride, I simply didn't like his style as a top rider. But the barrage of abuse for a tweet is unsustainable and detrimental and frankly I don't need it for a cycling opinion. Enjoy the rest of the season
Love "social" media right?
That was an amazing sprint from Andresen. That's two Danish wins in one day!
A sprint timed to perfection 💥
Tobias Lund Andresen patiently waited to launch his sprint at just the right time to come past Jonathan Milan and power to Stage 3 victory at Tirreno-Adriatico 💪🏼

Do not underestimate how much more expensive Paul Seixas is for a French team, compared to non-French teams like UAE Team Emirates, INEOS-TotalEnergies or Visma-Lease a Bike.
Let's say Paul Seixas wants €4M on his bank account...
French law requires riders to be employed, and to receive a ~€4M net salary, Decathlon CMA-CGM would have to pay Paul Seixas a gross salary of ~€5-7M, employer contributions of ~€2M, and an image rights payment of ~€1M.
That is a total cost of ~€8-10M for Decathlon-CMA CGM.
If Paul Seixas moves to Andorra and signs with a non-French team as a self-employed entity, the team only has to pay him ~€4.5M for Seixas to have €4M on his bank account.
This means non-French teams can offer significantly more net pay for Seixas than Decathlon-CMA CGM, and still spend less in total. 💸

🇲🇽 Isaac del Toro (UAD) : "C’était vraiment incroyable.

Replying to @BenjiNaesen @EndometriosisUK
I would appreciate it a lot if you took a few minutes out of your day to read this amazing article by @matildaprice_ about menstrual disorders, including Endometriosis.

"Cycling is entrenched in tradition and history"
Also cycling:
• Classic Brugge-De Panne > Ronde Van Brugge
• Gent Wevelgem > In Flanders Fields, from Middelkerke to Wevelgem
• Critérium du Dauphiné > Tour Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes
Milano-Sanremo's organisers are adding a gravel section to the route near Arenzano. They're hoping van der Poel's attack from here would add viewers to the last 2 hours of racing 😎🙊🤣
Perhaps Van Aert could be given more space and time to recover from crash and illness. Obviously he's probably more cautious in his positioning, who wouldn't be after breaking bones. But with time he would still perform at the highest level. He always has after setbacks

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month. 🟨
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women, yet many have never heard of it.
It's a chronic, incurable condition where tissue similar to the womb lining grows outside the womb, causing debilitating pain, fatigue, and sometimes infertility.
On average, it takes nearly 7 years to receive a diagnosis. Many see doctor after doctor, only to be told nothing is wrong. Some wait over a decade. That's years of pain, uncertainty, and being unheard. This has to change...
I'd swap any of the pre-"opening" weekend races for this KBK. Thank goodness I was on Zwift for some more entertaining cycling! 🥱
However, well done to Brennan for beating every sprinter under the sun 👏
Just finished reading Project Hail Mary. It's so poorly written, so silly to the point of taking Science Fiction into Fantasy. I will never get that time back
Yes Reform have failed to imprint their hatred and Labour failed to stand for anything Reform is not, but ultimately it is Spencer who deserves all the praise for being a good egg & showing the country hard work & heart go a long way with British values, more than hatred and fear
