Even if it's slightly suboptimal for your cat health wise, it's still a better option than killing multiple animals for his/her diet. But if your cat reacts badly then I feel all-beef diet is the least bad option. Cows are much bigger and have better life then other farm animals

My cat isn't a wild cat. They're inside cats who get fed out of my hands, just as I am not wild. They never go outside unless it's enclosed. So why should they follow a wild cat diet if they're theoretically capable of eating non animal products ?

What even is the point in testing for rabies then if the only way to keep it alive is to wait and see. No false positives but a fatal false negative. Just give the owners a vaccine and keep the animal quarantined.
