Eddie Gomez is a good son.
As a small business owner, he’s shown the grit it takes to build a business and provide for your family.
We need more leaders with real-world business experience, Reno would be lucky to have him as its next Ward 4 City Councilman.
Thank you @AaronDFordNV for taking the time to join us today at St. Anne’s Catholic Church alongside fellow Latino elected officials.
Grateful that we got the chance to come together and visit with our neighbors in East Las Vegas during early voting. #nvleg

Humbled to have President @BarackObama standing with us. As a former teacher, a dad, and the Attorney General who’s gone to bat for Nevadans, I’ll keep fighting for you as Governor: lowering costs, making housing affordable, and holding the line on your taxes.
Thank you, Mr. President. Nevada, let’s do this. Early voting starts this Saturday, October 17th.
Very strong proponent of electing candidates with difficult to pronounce last names, just sayin’
Let’s help elect @sandra4nv as Nevada’s next Lt. Governor! 👏🏼
This is a tragedy that could’ve been prevented.
First Friday needs to move toward a contained environment on Main St., which includes restricted vehicle access, deployable bollards, controlled entry points, age verification, and advanced detection systems where appropriate.
The family of 15-year-old Carth Osani Jacobs-Rodgers said they're grappling with his death 48 hours after he was shot and killed Friday night in the Arts District during First Friday. 8newsnow.com/news/local-news…
Last night, I was around the corner at First Friday completing an event right when this happened.
I am calling on @CityOfLasVegas to review the security parameters of First Friday and revisit the boundaries/structure of the event. This is a matter of public safety.
Video obtained by FOX5 shows the moments leading up to a shooting that took place near the First Friday event in downtown Las Vegas last night.
Police say a teen has died and two others are being treated for gunshot wound injuries.

Come on for 3 years he allowed people to believe that the he earned a Bronze Star Valor medal. He approved his campaign kick off video where they repeat the Stolen Valor lie. @DavidFlippoNV is a fraud.
Nevada beware of this stolen valor fraud.
Republican candidate caught falsely claiming combat valor medal in startling 'pattern of deception' trib.al/6S0Z104
This is insane.
Kalshi wants to make it easier for young men to gamble with money they don’t have, taking on debt that could follow them for years, all while Trump Jr. and his cronies make millions off the backs of Americans.
Another reason we do not need Kalshi in our state.
No offense to Colorado/Texas/Florida, but further concentrating our military assets into one region creates unnecessary national and homeland security risks.
It’s time for NASA to expand out West, Southern Nevada is the perfect location for our nation’s new Space Academy.
BREAKING: NASA has officially opened a nationwide competition to determine which state will become home to America's new U.S. Space Academy.
Every state gets just one bid. Governors have until October 26 to pitch NASA on their location, infrastructure, site readiness, and surrounding space ecosystem, with Texas, Florida, and Alabama already maneuvering for the campus.
The timeline is aggressive as NASA wants to break ground no later than 2027, welcome the academy's first 300 students in 2028, and have a permanent campus operational by 2031.
The proposed NASA-led federal academy would train engineers, scientists, operators and future space leaders, while its commission considers degree programs, security-clearance requirements and potential mandatory service after graduation in the military or civilian federal government.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman is leading the commission, which has 120 days to deliver its recommendations to the White House.

‼️NEW POLL: Aaron Ford now LEADS Joe Lombardo, 44-42‼️
No amount of campaign cash from Trump’s billionaire friends will distract voters from the reality: under Joe Lombardo, Nevada families are paying more and struggling to find work. Aaron Ford has spent his career fighting to lower costs and he won't stop until Nevada is a place people can actually afford.
First and foremost, thank you @AaronDFordNV for standing up for Nevadans.
Second, these dollars should be stewarded toward economic development for increasing access to mental health/primary care.
Let’s set a goal to make sure every Nevadan has a primary care provider by 2030.
Congratulations to my fraternity brother, Trent Miller, on your well-deserved @ufc contract!

When a road construction project shuts down an intersection, small businesses pay the price. That’s what happened on Maryland Pkwy with businesses in my district.
We need accountability for how these projects are planned, communicated, and managed between jurisdictions.
👷🏻🚧Las Vegas businesses are seeing a slowdown due to construction on Maryland Parkway. 8 News Now takes a look at some of the incentives they are giving customers as a "thank you" for braving the traffic congestion:8newsnow.com/news/local-news…
As autonomous vehicles take market share on the Las Vegas Strip, union workers in my district are being displaced while big tech captures millions in profits.
That’s wrong. I refuse to turn a blind eye and will do everything I can to make sure our workers are not left behind.
Zoox has officially launched paid commercial rides for its driverless robotaxis on the Las Vegas Strip.
While more autonomous vehicle companies are waiting in line to launch in Southern Nevada, some local drivers say the competition is already hurting their bottom line.
FOX5's Kim Passoth reports.

Gas stations shouldn't be selling addictive drugs disguised as dietary supplements.
Products with opioid-like effects are exploiting a legal gray area while families are left with the consequences. Nevada needs to close this loophole.
