Today i hit my first 1000$ revenue made by my apps. My first ever sale was in May 2026 and 5 months later i’ve hit this milestone!
I know it’s not that big a deal on twitter. Ppl seem to be making 6 figures in weeks from newly launched apps everywhere.
But after being a wagie for 13 years, zero marketing skills and zero money made online, i learned everything from first principles to get here.
I was a React dev at Github, comfortable, writing code by hand. And now i’m an app dev and an online content machine. Just me and my 100$ Claude sub. Shoutout to the 20$ Chatgpt which goes quite hard too.
Building stuff online and getting users for it is hard work. Many ppl don’t make any money for a long time, but it’s the twitter community here that shares freely and shows me what’s possible every single day that’s actually made it possible.
The best thing about this is that i’ve enjoyed every second of it, have not burned out and have gotten really really hungry! I know that the next 1000$ is going to be much faster, and I know that there’s no turning back for me. I will figure this out and i will craft a life where i’m going to sit my ass at home, carve out a business and be present for my kids.
It’s just the beginning and we gonna keep going. The moon just keeps getting closer and closer 🫶

How on earth did this happen:
The Indian certificate authority (CA) eMudhra had one job (well, two):
1. Create secure, 384-bit private keys
2. Store these securely and do not leak them
Well, eMudhra chose private keys between 1 and 256 (the numbers!!) and called it a day. WTF

WFH is not depressing at all. No traffic, saving on gas, saving money on lunch bec you’re already home, using your own CLEAN restroom, no fake ass coworkers around you or obnoxious noise. I’d scream if I had to go back into an office

The judge who said this is the same judge who gave bail to BJP leader Kuldeep Sengar in Unnao Rape Case
That’s all you need to know about the state of judiciary in India today.

Justice Subramonium Prasad is the judge who said these lines. He is the same judge who suspended BJP Kuldeep Singh Sengar life sentence in the Unnao rape case.

“Made a mistake by voting for Modi,” said Jagmeet Singh, a shop owner in CP. “I saw the police beating a girl, basically punching her, it could’ve been my sister or daughter.”
Watch how older people are stepping out to protest in what is largely seen as a Gen Z protest.

Ranka left a comfortable life in London because he refused to be a bystander.
Now he's in jail. Our turn now.
To those keeping him there: you can lock him up. You can’t make him stop caring about this country. Dekh lena. I know my friend.
Release Saurav and Ranka. NOW.

I have started believing that if you're creative and/or feel a little too much, you need a medium or outlet to pour that extra energy into. and it's easy to be miserable when you're overwhelmed by yourself; you can't always "process your emotions" out of it

A few years ago, Ashu had a high-paying corporate job in London, earning millions. Saurav was writing about the country’s legal system and living a great life. Both had successful careers, financial security and every reason to continue living the lives they had built for themselves.
But they chose to give it all up in the hope of making this country a better place. They had absolutely no reason to leave behind their comfortable lives, take to the streets, face uncertainty and eventually end up in jail. Yet they did.
What I admire most about these two is that despite coming from privileged backgrounds, they chose to fight for those who aren’t as fortunate. They could have easily looked the other way, enjoyed their lives and never bothered about the struggles of people they had never even met. Nobody asked them to make these sacrifices. Nobody expected them to. But they did, because they genuinely care about people beyond themselves.
And to me, that is the greatest quality a human being can have. To stand up for people you don’t know, to fight battles that aren’t your own, and to risk everything you have so that someone else might have a better life.
That’s the kind of people Ashu and Saurav are.

The respect Delhi Police has for gangsters…
Wish they showed even 10% of this courtesy to students and activists who are doing nothing but protest.
