I have observed. Anyone with Yoruba name but seemingly has extreme Islamic views, there is a good chance the person is from Ilorin, attended Unilorin, or both. I would say I’m right about 80% of the time, There must be something worth examining about the environment in Ilorin. Yoruba society has had a long history of religious pluralism but some of the most extreme Islamic views I encounter seem to come from that place.
