BMF will „technischen Fehler“ nun schnell beheben… m.bild.de/politik/inland/tab…

This is obviously opening a big opportunity for alternative services, products or platforms with agentic-first or hybrid approaches.
notice.. > Delta is blocking AI agents from booking flights > JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab block agents from accessing accounts > Yelp requires paid data licensing for agents > Amazon has blocked Grok bot and other shopping agents. the internet is starting to block AI agents that were supposed to do everything for us

This did not age well.
The battle of narratives is going strong. Our countries are a recurring target. It is time to act to tell the stories that make us strong. Let’s live our own story! Protect what matters - our democracy.

So be careful using grok bot, they always use your data without option to opt out.
Replying to @_simonsmith
Unless you’re doing something super unique, your data is not actually useful for training, but we do need some way to debug issues and make the product better. We don’t have ESP!

Ok, looks like there is an option to opt out but very opaque via cursor privacy settings.

The model seems to be pretty sure...
Congratulations to OpenAI on this great model release!

Anthropic and OpenAI are totally not working on cracking all crypographic algorithms we have and they surely won't find anything with their millennium problem capable level models no need to worry

Not a great outlook for Bitcoin and co: AI improving quantum computing and potentially breaking encryption due to math breakthroughs.
New from our STEM Fellows Program: Designing more efficient quantum circuits with Claude. Given plain-language instructions, Claude Mythos 5 designed quantum circuits that improve on the best published ones, sometimes by an order of magnitude or more. More efficient circuits reduce the resources needed by quantum algorithms, which could bring quantum computing applications in chemistry and materials science within reach sooner. So true
I'd say ~75% of my issues with AI coding disappeared once I gave my agent the ability to verify its own work

Looks like future models will not only design their silicon but also their servers, racks and datacenters.
NVIDIA just dropped an open source Apache-2.0 licensed CAD kernel HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i honestly feel bad for the prop CAD bros. this week has been nonstop L's and it isn't getting better from here github.com/NVIDIA-Omniverse/…

"Every meaningful model action must leave tamper-proof human readable evidence. If it can’t be observed, it can’t be trusted!" We are seeing the opposite trend with looping transformers, needing less CoT(reasoning tokens) for the same performance.

Computer Scientist Jürgen Schmidhuber (@SchmidhuberAI): "there's no way of controlling this AI development — at some point in the not-so-distant future, humans cannot be in charge any longer" The main competitors of these super-smart AIs won't be humans, but other super-smart AIs

Nothing to see here...
Lucky coincidence the labs are only successfully cracking esoteric math problems and not the problems where a solution would give the winner an asymmetric commerical advantage.

Nice progress in world models, we are very close to fully personalized gaming.
If you've ever wanted to embody a seal, Odyssey-3 is what you've been waiting for.

True, no moat for Jev.
pretty interesting how fast everyone deployed decision models

The big question here is: will this scale? 3D printers currently do not.
Wait. Am I getting this right? These guys just came out of SIX YEARS in stealth with a machine that takes code and spits out actual working micro-machines??? Tiny devices with moving parts, without the usual per-product tooling or months of process development. A different code… BAM: different machine! A regular factory locks in custom fixtures and process recipes for each thing it builds. 3D printer…? Just changes the shape. What Atomic Machines describes is closer to a compiler for physical devices: The system measures the result after every step, feeds that back, and only lets the part move forward if it is in spec. Their first output is the PrimeSwitch PS-150, a hermetic relay about the size of a fingernail that carries 150 A continuous, opens to 1,500 V isolation in 50 microseconds, and draws no power while holding the state. Aimed at the 800 V DC rails showing up in AI data centers, where mechanical contactors are too slow and solid-state switches bleed heat and cannot fully isolate. If you are even remotely interested in manufacturing, you know this a different c a t e g o r y of manufacturing. Congrats to @jeffholden and Klaus Zietlow and the rest of the team!

Getting SRAM scaling back up to speed would be very welcome indeed!
This looks to be important
