My former colleagues from @HAW_Hamburg and @TUHamburg and I have just #published a #paper in #JSV about a "Helmholtz resonator with two resonance frequencies by coupling with a mechanical resonator". FREE download link: authors.elsevier.com/c/1h5Fu… As usual, a short thread...

The flip side: this coupling makes it quite difficult to predict where the sound absorption peaks are. Therefore, in the paper we present an accurate #analytical #model, which makes designing these resonators much easier and more computationally efficient. 👨🏫🧮
