This is how Big Tech lost Gen X
They still don't understand Gen X in the workplace.
We don't want free pizza parties.
We don't want mandatory team-building retreats.
We don't want motivational speeches about being a family.
And we definitely don't want another company-branded coffee mug.
You know what we want?
💰 Pay us what we're worth.
🏖️ Let us take our vacation days without guilt.
🏡 Respect our time outside of work.
🤝 Trust us to do the job we were hired to do.
📵 Stop expecting us to be available 24/7.
We're not looking for an office to become our second home. We have lives, families, responsibilities, and better things to do than pretend a pizza party makes up for being underpaid and overworked.
Pay us fairly, respect our boundaries, and let us get on with our lives.
That's the perk. That's the culture. That's it. 😂

Your skin is built out of the fat you eat, replaced every couple of years.
Sunlight lands on skin built from seed oil and the fat goes rancid inside you. The redness, the heat, the blistering, the peeling. That is rancid fat being cleared away by your immune system.
Sunburn is your skin going off like a bottle of sunflower oil left on a windowsill.

I used to say, "We are the dumbest nation on earth," Now I must say and sadly admit: WE are the dumbest people on earth (that includes ME) For we Elected the Idiot Ideologues who have passed the Bills that allow this.
Sorry, but we need a Revolution, If the Illegal Immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004. She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22' (notch) for her. It is interesting that the Federal Government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in Social Assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month. This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in Old Age Pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.
Maybe our Pensioners should apply as Refugees! Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the Refugees cut back to $1,012 and the Pensioners up to $2,470. Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.

What people think bacon is doing to them, against what bacon is actually made of.
The fear:
- Nitrates, cancer
- Saturated fat, clogged arteries
- Processed, the same shelf as cigarettes
- Pig, so it must be seed oil
- Salt, blood pressure
- A guilty treat, Saturday only
The rasher:
- Pork, salt, smoke
- A few milligrams of nitrite, mostly gone by the time it's fried
- About 40% saturated and 50% monounsaturated fat
- Thiamine at levels no other meat reaches
- B12, B6, niacin, selenium, zinc
- Complete protein, 15g from two rashers
- The one food on earth that makes the whole house come downstairs
The cancer story runs nitrite, then nitrosamines, then your bowel. Your mouth makes more nitrite out of a spinach salad than a rasher carries, and the nitrosamines were a 1970s problem, fixed by curing with vitamin C, which has been in the bacon since 1978. The cure stays because it keeps botulism out. The "nitrate-free" pack next to it is cured with celery, which is nitrate with a vegetable on the label.
