Nico in Monza was cinema. The man had no hesitation giving Martin Brundle a proper reality check. For all the history between Nico and Lewis, I respect that when Nico believes Lewis is right, he will stand up for him. He doesn’t owe Lewis anything. That makes it mean MORE.

Everyone loves the phrase "If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver" until it's Lewis Hamilton Then he's called "naive", "aggressive" or "too ambitious" Even though he keeps it clean, on track & under control

the washroom attendant at literally pheonix palladium mumbai has shift timings 11pm-7am and absolutely nothing to sit on during. Check ins every hour to ensure they're not asleep despite exactly zero footfall (the mall shuts at 9 pm). We're the most miserable country to exist

Bharat Ratna should be given to folks like her, imagine saving an endemic species from extinction over 20 years, nothing a politician ever does will come close to this. Idk when we will reward those who actually work for the country, instead of those who are just self preserving
She was standing under a tree in an Assam village when a man cut it down. 9 baby birds fell to the ground in front of her. Some were injured. Some died there. She stopped her PhD that year and did not go back to it for more than a decade. Her name is Purnima Devi Barman. She was born in 1980 in Pub Majir Gaon, a village on the bank of the Brahmaputra in Assam. Her grandmother used to sing to her about the birds in the paddy fields and taught her to tell the different storks apart. She studied zoology at Gauhati University and began a PhD in 2007 on the greater adjutant stork, which people in Assam call the hargila, meaning bone swallower. It is one of the rarest storks in the world. It stands about 5 feet tall, it is bald, and it eats carrion and rubbish. In 2007 the number left in Assam was estimated at around 450. The problem was not poaching. It was that people hated it. Villagers thought it was dirty, thought it smelled, and thought it was a bad omen. They threw stones at the birds. They cut down the trees the birds nested in, or tried to smoke them out. As one report put it, people would rather cut down their own trees than live near them. She did not fight the villagers. She worked out that the birds could only be saved if the people around them wanted them there. So she went to the women. Her own words about the start of it are worth repeating. Men would dismiss her, she said. The women would laugh at her, but they would invite her into the house, and they would listen. She held cooking competitions in backyards and talked about the bird while they cooked. She got theatre groups to write plays about it. She had the stork woven into textiles. She organised baby showers for hargila chicks, so that a nesting tree became something a family celebrated rather than something they resented. She told villagers the bird could have gone to any village in Assam, and it chose theirs. The women became the Hargila Army. It started small. It now has more than 20,000 members. Since 2010, she says, not a single nesting tree has been cut in those villages. The women planted 45,000 saplings and rescued more than 500 chicks that fell from nests. Nests in one colony in Kamrup district went from about 30 to over 250. The stork population in Assam has gone from around 450 to more than 1,800. In December 2023 the International Union for Conservation of Nature moved the species off the endangered list. She was given the Whitley Award in 2017 and the Whitley Gold Award in 2024, which people call the Green Oscar. India gave her the Nari Shakti Puraskar. Time named her one of its Women of the Year in 2025. The women in those villages, who once laughed at her, are now the reason the bird exists.

@narendramodi @Dev_Fadnavis @AshwiniVaishnaw

The participation of government and constitutional functionaries, such as the Prime Minister, Judges, Chief Ministers, Governors, and Ministers in bhumi pujan, havan, coconut-breaking ceremonies, Vedic chanting, and other Hindu religious rituals before the stone-laying foundation or inauguration ceremonies of public infrastructure has become so common in India that it rarely attracts serious constitutional scrutiny. Difficult to understand how this is an example of the good relationship between Trump and Modi. From what the US Ambassador is saying it seems the MEA had one ask (an embarrassing one), and the US President completely ignored it. MEA should clarify or deny what Gor is saying, if it is inaccurate.
"MEA had one ask...let's bring in the media, let's not do any questions":Gor

This Racist wont tell you British stopped all drainage and sanitation system of Indian localities to boost the spread of Plague and British officers use this excuse to abduct Indian women and girls and delivered them to british army to use them as pr0stitutes. British were evil
In Calcutta, N. Mukerjee stated that "people would prefer to die of the plague rather than consent or submit to the removal of their mothers, wives, daughters or sisters to hospital". This is a perfect encapsulation of what I call "The Honour-Income Trade-Off", where men may prefer the honour they gain from female seclusion from the income they gain from female earnings, Or in this case prefer honour to life itself.

DAY EIGHT - Aston Martin Hit & Run case Hyderabad, touted as one of the most surveilled cities in the world today has a curious case of missing CCTV footage. Today is the eighth day of Aston Martin hit and run case involving 25 year old Lingamaneni Sanjush, son of Janasena MP Lingamaneni Ramesh. Sanjush allegedly driving at a 120 km speed crushed a 26 year old poor salesgirl Bharati Mukhi, from Lifestyle, Inorbit Mall…when she stepped out for lunch. Bharati Mukhi was declared dead on arrival by the hospital. Sanjush is still not arrested. CCTV footage of this entire incident is very magically “MISSING”!!! From Madhapur Inorbit Mall area which is one of the busiest places with so many IT companies. Bharati Mukhi’s life doesn’t matter. You and I, don’t matter. We live and die like cockroaches in this country where rich brats like Sanjush get a free pass even after killing a girl!!! Such a shame that Congress Government in Telangana is repeating the same story of shielding sons of rich & powerful men from opposition BJP & its allies. Aren’t you even like a little bit embarrassed? @INCIndia

Parliament can spend 17 hours debating one Bill. It can also pass another in 3 minutes. @khushimehrotraa looked at 46 Bills passed since the start of the 18th Lok Sabha to see how much time Parliament is spending scrutinising the laws it passes. newslaundry.com/2026/08/20/b…
