When I find myself in left-wing spaces with people clinging to untested and untestable left-wing assumptions, I tend to feel very right-wing, to want to challenge them with the obvious holes in their assumptions until they offer up some serious answers.
But then I turn around and hear
the right, the unearned confidence, the total surety and casual cruelty, the way they will breezily label a patriotic Jew who has sacrificed for his country a Nazi. Just like that. No intermediate step. No argument against what he actually wrote. Just an instinctive anger that insists nothing is ever wrong and it is treason to say otherwise — and I find myself spending the rest of my day feeling pretty left-wing.
I have no loyalty to political camps. Only to my family and my people. Those more loyal to their camp than their people can’t lecture the rest of us about loyalty.
If these clowns had arguments, they wouldn’t default to Goebbels. If they had Jewish solidarity, they wouldn’t see Nazis in loyal Jews who’ve sacrificed more than they have. But they have neither. They have only this emptiness.
For the record, and I hate to say it because it dignifies this emptiness with a response, I didn’t choose the publication date. It was supposed to be last week but was delayed by Iran developments. But I didn’t mind it either. I was too busy commemorating the day to notice the hour of publication. So does that make FP editors Nazis too now, you dolts?
Can some decent right wingers weigh in and rescue us from the dumb ones?
And I don’t just mean this dumb little ruckus. We could use a smarter, more loyal right more generally on the national stage.
Haviv Rettig Gur decided erev Yom Hadhoah is the right time to publish a long article in TFree Press titled
“Israel has an Extremism Problem “
Really disturbing that he felt this was the time for this
thankfully thus far must of the commenters called him out on his awful timing and more importantly they disagree that Israel’s “settlers” of the jewish homeland have anything to do with the hatred towards Israel
here’s one comment
“ Haviv employs the Goebbels method of propaganda. He always starts with largely fair and erudite historical exposition but always introduces a complete falsehood into his narrative. He claims that he is truthful by pointing to the correct portion of his propaganda pieces, just like Goebbels who maintained that the propaganda must be largely based on the truth.”
Jew and non jew alike are very critical of Rettig Gur’s article

👀 Ukrainian special services supplied the Russian Armed Forces with explosive humanitarian aid in the form of mined insoles, — Militarnyi
A batch of 500 such insoles was discovered today by the Russian FSB during transportation to the Russian Federation from Poland through Belarus.
Each pair contained 1.5 g of TNT, which is enough to injure the legs of a serviceman and make him lose combat capability.
It is reported that deliveries began in early March through various volunteers and charitable foundations. The total number of products transferred reached tens of thousands. Previous batches of insoles did their job.

Copenhagen Iranian embassy just raised the lion and sun flag: I don’t know how, but it just happened a couple of hours ago. People are shouting: “Honorable”. 💃🏻❤️🇮🇷🇮🇱🇺🇸

I'm a Druze born, raised, and living in Lebanon, son of a former PSP militant who fought alongside the PLO during the Israeli siege of Beirut in 1982. Today, my old man and I both agree that we have nothing to do with Islam's holy war against the Jews. We want to live in peace.

I counted today at least 4-5 Israeli military reporters that spoke about the US soldiers that crashed and killed in Iraq and named them on air thanking them for their service.
I think that Israelis, probably more than many other countries, can relate to the tragedy and pain of having soldiers killed in a war. This, along with the special US-Israel bond make us feel almost like we lost our own soldiers.
RIP American heroes

Apparently we also took out the guy who names the operations

Breaking: I just discovered that former U.S. Education Secretary William Bennett registered this month as a foreign agent for Qatar.
Per the new FARA filings, he’s being paid $30k per month for 7 months to, and I quote, “publicize the fact that Qatari higher education efforts do not support radical Islamicist movements or positions....”
His efforts are to include op-eds, TV interviews, and meetings with elected officials.
The Qataris are working overtime to shield their role in shaping and radicalizing young American minds.
We must be ready to fight back.

Shout out to the Pikud HaOref dev team.
We don't sufficiently appreciate what a technical feat it is to send push notifications, alerts, SMS messages, and real-time app updates to millions of devices at the same time.
It's more impressive than you would think.

Iran claims that they hit a Mossad base in Israel.
That's OK. All of us are in Iran anyway.

I'm gonna spell this out just once, so people can link this tweet to the knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, shit-eating simian creatures that whine about BoOtS oN tHe GrOuNd as if America's going to conduct a land invasion of Iran with eleventy gorillion troops and fight in the caves for a generation:
Everything that makes Iran a problem comes from a factory, and those factories can be vaporized from the air.
Most US casualties in Iraq were caused by sophisticated off-route EFP mines mass-produced by Iran. The rockets fired at Israel in such massive quantities that it threatened to deplete Israeli Iron Dome interceptor stocks and overwhelm their systems? Mass produced by Iran. The drones and missiles the Houthis used to close the Bab-El-Mandab strait, and thus the Suez canal, one of the most economically vital sea lines of communication in existence? Mass-produced by Iran. The SRBMs being fired at Ukraine by Russia? Mass-produced and delivered to them by Iran. The massive heavy MRBM arsenal they've been attempting to mass-murder Israeli civilians with and have used to threaten and coerce everyone else in the region, reaching as far as southern Europe/Italy? Mass-produced by Iran.
None of this happens without Iranian mass weapon production, many millions of dollars in fiscal support and Iranian military advisors, leadership and intel support. You don't get the kind of problems in that region from six fucking clowns making home-made grenades out of soda bottles, bathtub explosives and rusty nails. Anti-ship ballistic missiles aren't cobbled together by fucking Jihad Cletus in his garage. Blow up the Iranian military-industrial complex, take out their nuclear program, and these problems go away. Forever. And if they try to build them again? You blow them up again.
There isn't a hole deep enough for them to climb in. We built a massive, 30,000 pound bunker-busting bomb to make doubly god-damned sure of it. There is never, at any possible point in time, any fucking reason whatsoever to put a single god-damned fucking "boot" on the "ground" in Iran.
Every single "Forever War" in the Middle East is caused and perpetuated by Iran, and the only consequences for us ending it would be a three percent bump in Lockheed Martin stock.
And that is *fucking it.*
