The idea that Ronaldo “lost his dribbling because he focused on goal scoring” is such a misconception. In reality, he was never a particularly good close-control dribbler. Look at the touches in these clips — the ball is often so far away from his feet. You simply cannot be an elite dribbler if you consistently lose that level of control. What made young Ronaldo effective was his athleticism. He could push the ball into space, chase it down and still get to the other end before the defender. As he aged and lost some of that explosiveness, he also lost the ability to recover those loose touches. That’s why his dribbling declined. It wasn't simply because he “stopped dribbling” to focus on scoring.

Proves my point that Guler’s chance creation is very reliant on open space , transitions and set pieces . If or when (which may never happen) he figures out a way to break teams down without hoping for space to open up and stops being reliant on that left foot then he might have a future here ,but in the current moment he is gonna go to the prem by 2029 .
