Ieri, alle quattro del mattino, ha visto sua madre morire bruciata viva in un bombardamento israeliano contro una tendopoli a Gaza.
Mariam è sopravvissuta.
Il Suo papa’ era già stato sterminato da Israele pochi mesi fa.
A due anni e mezzo, è rimasta senza entrambi i genitori.
La sua è una delle innumerevoli infanzie devastate a Gaza.
Un’infanzia che avrebbe dovuto conoscere protezione, non le bombe, e un genocidio coloniale.
A Gaza ci sono 90.000 orfani. Novantamila bambini che hanno perso un genitore, o entrambi. Non sono numeri: sono vite spezzate, volti, nomi, storie.
Gaza è il cimitero del diritto internazionale. E della civiltà occidentale.
