Animated the war so far in NASA FIRMS satellite fire detections. Yellow = day, Magenta = night. Frontlines clearly visible except in winter, some large fuel fires from drone attacks also. The big waves in spring/autumn are mostly agricultural, not combat.

updated Ukraine FIRMS fire detections to start of Sept 2026. Same pattern as the last few years - clear frontlines in the warmer months.
Refinery fires and other "long range sanctions" in Russia often visible if you know the loc/date, though I have to expand the coverage range

Started labelling some of the big fires but need a geo-tagged database to do it properly.

Yknow Bowie just did this so people wouldn't realise the song is actually about Heroin and that way his mate Iggy could earn some royalties
This 'whole-body distributed worm memory' stuff was the origin of the genetic memory ideas in Dune and elsewhere.
I suspect the answer is just: standards in biology were much lower in the 60s.

You need to follow the causal chain back a few steps, where instead of neocons and "ethnic resentment", you find Strobe Talbott (or another step back - Walesa and Havel)

His belief in the need for a security buffer opposed to the West and the conception of a Russian Eurasian state opposed to Europe is in fact, the thing that retards in the US State Dept vindicated by refusing to take yes for an answer, refusing to integrate a post-Soviet Russia.
I once saw The Stooges tech rider - for lights it asked for just a 4 colour PAR-can wash (pub-rock basic), saying that no fancy moving light show could possibly be more interesting than Iggy Pop gyrating shirtless on stage.
I'm sorry. How is this suddenly a discourse? Iggy Pop has performed without his shirt on for his entire decades-spanning career. Now, a bunch of idiots who probably just heard his name for the first time today are getting upset about it because he's old and wrinkly?
So what's the idea? That he should put a shirt on to spare you from having to see his body? You essentially want him to be a coward that hides himself for the sake of your comfort. That's not very rock'n'roll.
The body is part of the performance. Always has been. If you were fine with it when that body was young and tight, but now suddenly find it offensive because it’s old and wrinkled, then the problem is not him; the problem is that you’ve been trained to see aging as some kind of indecency.
