We had to make a tough call: our new hospital fundraiser is on pause 😢
Our new facility is desperately needed, but with operational debts piling up and response being so low, keeping our current rescues fed and cared for has to come first.

When Sergey Brin, the 4th richest man alive, isn’t dining with Trump, what’s he doing?
He’s spending $138 million against California’s 5% billionaire wealth tax.
He’d rather working class kids die because they can’t afford healthcare than pay his fair share in taxes. Obscene.

Taylor: "I'd take it back even further, to 10 years ago, when you said Donald Trump was authoritarian. And you know what, Scott? I have to give you credit. That was a great prediction, because 10 years later, I think you've proven yourself right."
Jennings: "Why are you so upset with how he's wielding executive power?"
Taylor: "For the same reason you said he violated his oath and should never return to that office."

If Russia has no diesel to sell, then why are we lifting sanctions to buy diesel they dont have? Illogical as much as it is, it's immoral.
.@SecretaryWright: "Russia exports, today, zero diesel. This is an incentive to Russia that if they can reduce the conflict with Ukraine — if they can get an energy ceasefire or reduce the conflict such that they have diesel to export — we'll allow it to flow to world markets. This is a carrot to try to end a war; it's not an economic lifeline for Russia."

🎧 “EXECUTE THEM IMMEDIATELY”: RUSSIAN OCCUPIERS SHOT UKRAINIAN PRISONERS OF WAR NEAR HULIAIPOLE.
Ukrainian forces intercepted Russian radio communications at the very moment the alleged war crime was being committed. The recordings contain orders to finish off a wounded Ukrainian soldier and immediately execute captured Ukrainian servicemen. According to the report, the orders were carried out without hesitation.
Maksym Kravchuk, spokesperson for Ukraine's Southern Group of Forces, disclosed these details to Ukrainska Pravda. According to him, such orders within the brigade are issued at the direction of its commander, Colonel Valery Kazak.
📌 WHAT WE KNOW
🔹 Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed. Both were unarmed prisoners of war.
🔹 Russia's 38th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade is reportedly responsible.
🔹 Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office has opened a criminal investigation under Article 438, Part 2, of the Criminal Code. The offense carries a possible sentence of life imprisonment.
🔹 More than 345 executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war have been documented by Ukraine's Ombudsman since 2022, according to figures reported in August.
🔹 The United Nations has already verified 129 executions.
For the Russians involved, this was apparently just another routine radio exchange. For investigators, it is evidence. The intercepted recordings have already been handed over to law enforcement authorities.
📻 THE ORDER TO EXECUTE WAS GIVEN OVER THE RADIO. ONE DAY, IT MAY BE READ ALOUD IN COURT. ⚖️

Trump called his waiver of the new Russia sanctions “a very good decision… good for the country and the world.”
We in Ukraine are still under Russian missile and drone attacks! Congress passed the Graham Act to cut off the money funding Russia’s war.
Trump signed it, then gutted it days before it took effect, while cozying up to Moscow and giving them deals right before their winter terror campaign against our people.
This rewards Putin, rewards aggression, and rewards Russian terrorism. It gives them more revenue right in the midst of one of the cruelest bombing campaigns against our cities.
And even if “national interest” means cheaper fuel more than ending a war of aggression or supporting an ally fighting for its survival, these deals and waivers don’t achieve even that. It’s a betrayal for nothing.
Ukrainians will pay the price. And so will American credibility.

When the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 came before the Rules Committee, I offered Rep. Meeks’s amendment to block President Trump from waiving Russian sanctions. My Republican colleagues voted against it.
On Friday, President Trump did exactly that: issuing an EO that exempts Russia from the new sanctions passed by Congress last month, a dangerous decision that puts our allies at risk.

I served two tours in Afghanistan alongside allied troops. We shared tents and flew missions in the same skies. Over 1,000 soldiers from partner nations died fighting with us there.
When our SecDef diminishes their sacrifice, he damages trust with allies we may need again.
Plus, he's the SecDef. He should be strengthening our alliances, not teaching ROTC cadets.
Hegseth on Afghanistan:
I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters.
It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there.
Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations.
In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."

Over 1100 non-American soldiers from 31 US-allied countries were killed fighting in Afghanistan, approximately 1/3 of the total combat deaths.

### Shimon Peres to Vladimir Putin:
“I said to him:
‘You are 63 years old, and I am 93. Tell me, what do you want to achieve over the next 30 years? What are you fighting for? Are you hoping to irritate America?’
He replied: — No.
— Does America want to take part of Russia?
— No.
— Do you have problems with Obama because of some misunderstanding?
He asked: — Why are you asking me this?
I said: — Listen, I am not a spy. You can talk to me about anything.
He asked: — And what do you think?
I replied: — America will win, no matter what you do.
— Why? — he asked.
— Because they are happy, and you are not.
And I continued:
When an American wakes up in the morning, what does he see? To the south, Mexico — and Mexicans are welcomed into his country. To the north, Canada, his best friend in the world. And to the east and west, fish swimming in the water. What does Obama have to worry about?
And you? Who do you see around you when you wake up in the morning? Japan, China, Afghanistan?
My God! They know you have an enormous territory, yet you give them nothing. You possess 20 percent of the world's freshwater reserves, but you share nothing with others.
And when the snow in Siberia melts, the first people you will see there will be the Chinese. After all, there are many Chinese in the east and very few Russians.
The second thing I told him was this:
America has the best ratio of land area to population in the world. You have the worst.
Twenty million square kilometers! My God! But you don't have enough people to develop that territory. Your people are dying.
Do not be seduced by applause or by what people tell you. They will never forgive you for this.
Why do Russians live, on average, only 62 years, while Americans live to 82?
And then I told him:
— You behave like a tsar.
What did the tsars do? They built two cities — St. Petersburg and Moscow — as showcases. You can find anything you want there.
But the rest of Russia is Nigeria covered in snow.
Your people are dying. You are not giving them the opportunity to live with dignity. Do you really think they will forgive you?
— Why is America great? — he asked.
— Because America gives. And why does Europe have problems? Because Europe takes.
America gives.
People think Americans do this because they are generous. I believe they do it because they are wise.
When you give, you make friends. The most valuable investment you can ever make is an investment in friendship.
America had the courage to implement the Marshall Plan. It devoted an enormous share of its GDP to helping Europe, which was lying in ruins at the time.
And by doing so, America proved that such assistance is one of the best investments in the world.
There was not a single European country that had not been an empire. The French, the British, the Portuguese — they all had colonies.
And what happened?
They were driven out and left with nothing.
Britain was the greatest empire, the empire on which the sun never set. It controlled all the oceans.
But even the nonviolent resistance of the Indian people forced Britain to leave, reducing it to just three small islands that it now doesn't know what to do with.
Believe me,’ I told Putin, ‘enemies and hostility are the greatest losses in life.
You are investing in stupidity.’”
