🇮🇷 Iranian craftsmen have recreated a Persian velvet carpet that once adorned the 🇷🇺 Russian Emperor Nicholas II's palace.
The carpet, described in detailed inventory books, was lost during World War II. However, the Iranian craftsmen have used ancient Persian techniques, including knot weaving and natural dyes, to meticulously replicate the historic patterns.
This effort is part of the ongoing restoration of the Alexander Palace, where Nicholas II resided, aiming to restore its interiors to their former glory.
