Thank you to Dawn Champagne, our KatyISD Board Trustee, for coming to Exley this week! Dawn is a former Exley mom, PTA volunteer and president. She was able to visit with some of our volunteers during their kickoff meeting and see the great things happening in our classrooms.

Welcome to Mr. House, our first Exley Dad of the year! We're looking forward to a great day seeing him around the building helping out in different areas.

Exley is hard at work with learning. Students are collaborating in Math stations together, having great conversations about texts in Reading, and learning to use the library from our new librarian, Ms. Segrist.

Exley families, be sure to join us for our Back to School Tailgate this Thursday hosted by our PTA. Games and food trucks will be available. Come out and help us kick off the school year right!

Our staff is amazing! Leadership had fun treating them to a couple of goodies to say thank you for their dedication and hard work. Cold drinks were given for our fabulous TEA A+ rating and cookies for showing they are "one tough cookie" making it through the first week.

Calling all 3rd-5th grade Exley students and families! We are excited to rev up for another year of RDR on our campus. Be sure to check it out and attend the parent meeting on September 15th. We can't wait to see all of you participating in this great club!

A huge thank you and appreciation to all of our students, teachers, staff, parents, and community members for all of your hard work and support in helping us to earn our A accountability rating by TEA! We couldn't do it with your help throughout the year.

Thank you to @PME_Katyisd for coming and sharing the day to learn some amazing @lead4ward strategies we can utilize with our students. We had a great time participating in some movement strategies and a great lunch grilled by Eric Finley himself!

Congratulations to our two summer Instagram post winners, Ms. Wyngarden and Ms. Mujakic! Our Edu-gators traveled all over Katy and the world having adventures with our teachers and staff over the past few months.

We're excited to be back! The staff had a great first week and half. The Sunshine Committee helped provide breakfast to enjoy one morning and take some cute pictures before learning and collaborating to plan for our wonderful students.
