JUST IN: Recursive is launching Flint, an open-weight coding model designed to run on your own laptop with 40B total parameters and 2.5B active per token. Recursive says its optimized engine delivers more than 125 tokens/second on an M4 Pro MacBook Pro. Recursive says its Eureka Machine helped develop the model by proposing research ideas, implementing them and testing the results. The weights are being released under Apache 2.0.
