This is a Cryogenic Dry Disconnect Coupling working its magic! At this point a cryogenic transfer is happening as it feeds LNG #gas at -196°c through 🥶The ice build up is due to the difference in the gas temperature and the surrounding atmospheric temperature ❄️

Since 2008 international standards API 2000 and ISO28300 have stated that new pressure/vacuum relief valves on storage tanks should be leak tested. Shame on the majority of manufacturers who still do not conform to this requirement. Just to be the lowest cost competitor!
