Everglades Trust Endorsed Candidate: @ByronDonalds for Florida Governor
We’re proud to endorse @ByronDonalds. He’s the only candidate who can maintain @GovRonDeSantis’ momentum on #EvergladesRestoration. Byron helped deliver a fair, balanced #LakeO schedule, has consistently supported full funding and has the relationships to keep restoration moving.

Thank you, Congresswoman @MaElviraSalazar, for continuing to support #EvergladesRestoration and working to protect Florida’s water.
Protecting South Florida’s water is protecting our home.
That is why I’ve brought millions of dollars back to our community to clean up Biscayne Bay, protect the Everglades, and restore our coral reefs.
We’ve made progress, and with your support, I’ll keep fighting to protect the waters that make South Florida paradise.
Congressman @BrianMastFL has been a champion for #EvergladesRestoration. Grateful for his commitment to improving Florida’s water.
I helped secure $2 billion to accelerate Everglades restoration. The 17,000-acre EAA Reservoir will store 78+ billion gallons, deliver up to 470 billion gallons of clean water a year, and finish in 2029 instead of 2034.
Cleaner water sooner for the Treasure Coast. cbs12.com/news/local/mast-to…

Everglades Trust CEO @AnnaHoltUpton took part in the opening lunch keynote panel w/@FLDEPNews, @SFWMD & @JaxStrong at the 40th annual @epsummerschool, where they discussed the immense progress that has been made for the #Everglades & Floridians w/the @SFWMD & @USACEHQ partnership
.@SFWMD and @USACEHQ today signed a unique agreement to advance the final #EAAReservoir component and the Blue Shanty Flow Way. The state will now be able to advance these projects to align with the reservoir’s 2029 completion and be ready to help send more water south.
Thank you, @GovRonDeSantis, for signing a budget that has $665M for #EvergladesRestoration, including the funding needed to complete the state's portion of the #EAAReservoir, the “Crown Jewel” of restoration.
With the signing of this budget, @GovRonDeSantis has secured nearly $9.5B for environmental efforts during his two terms. Read Everglades Trust CEO @AnnaHoltUpton’s full statement below.

Today, @GovRonDeSantis awarded #Everglades advocates George Barley (posthumously), Mary Barley, Paul Tudor Jones II, and Nathaniel Reed (posthumously) with the Governor’s Medal of Freedom, the highest honor in the state.
These recipients have played an important role in getting us to where we are today – the closest we’ve ever been to restoring the #Everglades – and it is fitting that we recognize their significant contributions during the year we celebrate @America250.
Florida and our nation are better because of their contributions to #EvergladesRestoration. Read the full statement from Everglades Trust CEO @AnnaHoltUpton by clicking below. evergladestrust.org/everglad…
