just met a darn cool and open minded californian grandpa on my flight to SF. super high energy and adhd type of guy just like me. also was so surprised that he knew so much about tech.

as a product designer, here's a life hack for engineers/vibe coders who want to build decent looking products with agents, fast:
1. go to ui.shadcn.com/create
2. create a basic preset
3. use it for your project
4. add lints to force your agents to stick to the preset components
5. keep the colors to a minimum if you don't know what you're doing
5. voilà
won't make your product gorgeous but it's good baseline you can evolve from or hire someone one day to take it to the next level.
