📣 Big news! We're thrilled to announce we acquired @codefresh! 🎉 Codefresh is an Argo maintainer and leader in Kubernetes CD, GitOps, and CI. Read @paulstovell’s blog post for more information: octopus.com/blog/octopus-acq…

Octopus Deploy acquires Codefresh

Paul explains why he's so excited about Codefresh joining Octopus, what we love about the Codefresh team, and why we think this is excellent news for our customers, Codefresh customers, and the Argo...

I am standing on a stage, ready to do a talk. You can see my laptop in presentation mode on a dark desk with a window behind it. I'm wearing a floral dress and grinning at the camera with my mouth open

This talk is in-depth! We'll be talking about concurrency all over the stack, from custom RPC protocols to hand-rolled ORMs and the fun ways SQL Server falls over when you push it. We'll also do a quick tour of domain driven design and how it plays into how we fix these problems

Talk 3 of 3 in 5 days is happening today! Come by @SSW_TV in Melbourne to see me live or tune in online. I'll be talking about five different ways things broke as we've scaled up here at @OctopusDeploy, and where we go from here!
A screenshot of a talk slide, with a dark blue gradient background. The text says "Cloud Deployments at scale Serving customers with various deployment needs: 5,000+ tenants 4,000+ deployments in a single day 16,000 targets" It has a fancy 3D graphic of the Octopus Deploy logo in a box connecting to some featureless glowing blue boxes representing other servers via a line with an infinity symbol through a cloud. The SSW logo and Octopus Deploy logo are in the bottom right of the slide.

Annie Vella is talking about the Staff Engineer path - these archetypes are from Will Larson's book. I feel so represented in this slide - the way she framed the "solver" archetype, as enjoying persevering digging into arbitrarily complex issues - is exactly what I love doing
