Listening to @evomagazine podcast earlier about GT3s and was surprised to hear @evoJB mention my name (I used to have a GT3) and the GT3’s possible influence on Project 8. Actual true story is that after weeks and weeks of disappearing up my own backside failing to get a steering tune for P8 I knew I needed to drive a GT3, but I’d sold mine by then. So a quick call to a friend and that weekend we took out an RS 4.0, 996 RS (and a Mac 650S) for a drive, and I immediately knew what to do. The next week we did P8 the steering tune in 2 days. So when @DickieMeaden says the P8 has that same GT3 feeling straightaway, it’s real. There’s no better benchmark.
