Our statement on Trump last night promising to end American democracy
ALT Statement on Trump's Promise to End Democracy "When Vice President Harris says this election is about freedom she means it. Our democracy is under assault by criminal Donald Trump: After the last election Trump lost, he sent a mob to overturn the results. This campaign, he has promised violence if he loses, the end of our elections if he wins, and the termination of the Constitution to empower him to be a dictator to enact his dangerous Project 2025 agenda on America. Donald Trump wants to take America backward, to a politics of hate, chaos, and fear - this November America will unite around Vice President Kamala Harris to stop him."

Great piece in the @guardian on alumna Benedict Lombe, who studied Scriptwriting with us!As her play Shifters transfers to West End,she is only third black British woman to have play staged there. She says: audiences are “thirsty” for romance stories told from a black perspective.
BIG NEWS: @ShiftersPlay is BACK and transferring from @bushtheatre to the West End this summer. Here's my @guardianculture feature on what this landmark moment means.

Universities are important places for audio experimentation and creativity. This MA at Goldsmiths has been a real leader in the field in the UK. We hope that Goldsmiths reconsider and more generations of programme-makers can go on to create wonderful things there.
I wanted to take this opportunity of paying tribute to all students and tutors on the MA Programme in Radio [renamed recently Audio Radio and Podcasting] programme running from 1991 to this year at Goldsmiths, University of London. See also: kulturapress.com/2024/05/04/…
