i was excited about emissive ugc releasing, but i'm not interested in selling ugc that's 5x the price floor just because it has an emissive map on it, and i doubt a lot of people are interested in buying ugc at that price

i don't think roblox is the right platform to make psychological horror games on. i don't think you should dance around or censor yourself with the topics these games tend to cover, and you'll HAVE to if you release it on roblox

i'm thinking of compiling a bunch of random stuff i've coded on studio over the years into a little showcase. none of its really enough for a full game (the closest i have there is the gasa fangame i was working on years ago) but i still want to show off some of what ive coded

i'm going to get back to making ugc and clothing sometime soon. i still have things that i want to make and i personally enjoyed making ugc as a way to develop my modelling skills other than that though, i don't think i'll be developing anything on roblox game-wise. it's-

mostly because of the state of roblox, but also because developing something off platform has way more flexibility lol. i probably will still be posting roblox-related things, but i hope to see at least a few of you stick around for some non-roblox stuff. :-)

the benefits the platform provides just don't outweigh the negatives, and it's getting harder and harder for newer or lesser known creators to get their foot in the door. its awful

this change is the one thats actually going to hurt the platform in the long run. the plus requirement/publishing fee wasn't that bad in comparison to this

It looks like Roblox is restricting all games to Ages 16+ by default. To reach younger players your game needs at least 500 unique age-verified 16+ players in the past 30 days. Otherwise your game stays locked to Ages 16+
