Through it all, Marcus Aurelius wrote private notes to himself.
Not for an audience.
Not to become famous.
Not to sell anything.
Those writings eventually became known as Meditations—and they contain some of the most practical ideas I’ve ever read for dealing with anxiety, uncertainty, difficult people, and your own mind.
Here are 5 ideas worth stealing from a Roman emperor:
Billionaires who literally are on the frontier of the tech creating AI: "Yeah, AGI is basically here."
Way too many people on Twitter acting like Reddit mods: "AKSHUALLY"
jfc shut the fuck up; latest models are insane, your dumb nitpick definition doesn't fucking matter.

Nobody posts a job titled:
Guy Who Is Weirdly Good at Understanding Everything That's Going on and Making the Shit Work
They probably should though, and if that is something you need, DM me maybe.

Anthropic was cooking so hard for a few months - their UI/UX is simply nicer + Sonnet/Opus and then Fable all felt really good to use for my use case.
That is *typically* using voice to give 5-20 minute brain dumps and/or instructions.
This past week I've been back in ChatGPT.
The massive fumble on Fable's release didn't help. First we have it, then we don't, then we get something watered down, then we don't know how long we get to have it, oh now we have some free credits to keep using it...
