Italics are important for subtlety and I will fight anyone who says otherwise
“never italicise words to show emphasis! if you’re writing well your reader will know. you don’t need them!” me: oh 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺? listen up buddy, you will have to pry my emotional support italics from my 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘥, 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥, 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴, they are going 𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦

Y encima, mal traducidas.

This is a common joke that floats in Autistics circles. After laughing, the literalist in me would argue that … if honesty is, in fact, their greatest weakness, it must be very bad as their *tactlessness* is quite severe. Honesty is free of deceit, not sharing your thoughts.

Plus "fancy" robots like this one have a lot of easily breakable pieces that require lots of maintenance and are expensive to replace. So, for psychopaths: taking into account the initial investment, a well-paid bartender is still much cheaper.

There's a pizza place in my town that did it well: instead of firing or underpaying employees to buy fancy robots, they bought one of those shelves with wheels and a cute cat face to assist employees and use it as a publicity stunt.

The result? Some extra clients who want to see the cute robot, more relaxed work for employees as the robot helps carrying big orders, and a good use of technology at the service of the people as it didn't take from their income.
