The UK could become one of the most interesting markets for Chinese EV brands.
Unlike the EU, the UK applies a flat 10% import tariff, helping more brands enter the market.
Sooo, the real competition isn't just price anymore.
It's: Range, Battery, Features, Warranty, etc.
2016: "Haha, a real car can't be electric. NOBODY's going to drive one."
2026: Over 2 million electric cars on UK roads...
Just a statistic
Everyone who's thinking about getting their first electric car, share your biggest concern. Experienced EV drivers, help bust these myths (or the ones you were worried about before getting an EV)!
A safe space for everyone!
EV drivers, refresh your memory! What's the most ridiculous excuse you've ever heard for not buying an electric car?
Sorry, but the traffic is crazyyyy! 🤯
Stuck in traffic paying £1.66/litre vs charging your EV at 7p/kWh... that's a different kind of calm 😆
Lidl has already become one of the UK's cheapest supermarkets, but it seems it's now becoming a serious competitor to EV charging providers too.
We'll see where it goes!
Lidl GB is cutting its rapid EV charging tariff to 59p/kWh for Lidl Plus customers as it invests £10m in expanding its charging network this financial year. retailgazette.co.uk/blog/202…
We need to talk more about electric cars. As long as EV myths keep spreading, we'll never fully switch to electric
EV drivers, who would you recommend following on TikTok or Instagram in the EV industry?
(But only someone you're genuinely keen on following)
The biggest EV problem in the UK is no longer range.
It's outdated information.
Most anti-EV arguments I still see online are based on what EVs were like in 2018.
Agree or disagree?
For the first time ever!
UK electric car sales jumped 30% in August, becoming the leading vehicle segment in the market.
Do you think there's any chance that one day we'll fully switch to electric vehicles?
Just seen the news that Uber is launching a driverless car trial in London...
Do you think it'll make rides cheaper? And how comfortable would you feel sharing the road with driverless cars?
Why is nobody talking about the ban on new ICE cars sales from 2030?
By 2035, only zero-emission vehicles will be allowed to be sold in the UK. Do you think we'll fully switch to electric in the next 30 years — or is it just hype?
EV owners - what advice you’d give for someone who’s planning to buy the first electric car in their life?
Something is coming.
