THIS is what makes all of the hard work of spring planting worth it. Full tractor cab, full heart. #Plant24

#Plant24 has been a start/stop type of planting season due to small shots of rain making interruptions, but I’m not complaining!

Over an inch since this weekend. Definitely could categorize these 3 separate showers as “perfect rains”. (Nice slow soakers) More forecasted over the next 5-7 days. Planting will have to wait, thankful for the moisture!

This is a picture from Sunday afternoon of the snow total on a utility trailer that was parked in my yard. Considering that the first couple inches melted, I’m guessing our totals were in the 10-12” range. Too early…

Trying to be productive while I wait for these beans to dry… Marked these rocks from the planter this spring! I’ll come pick them after harvest! 100 years from now, I wonder if they’ll ask how these rocks got painted! #NewAgeHieroglyphics

What’s a tool that 5 years ago you never thought you’d own? I’ll go first! Battery operated chain saw… Pretty handy!

Good rain over the weekend, too late for this years crop… but I’m still a lucky man.

Farmers in ND typically broadcast synthetic fertilizer, but since the area is nearly 100% no-till, there's a risk of losing those nutrients to the environment. Pivot Bio RETURN OS keeps nitrogen where it is needed, at the root of the plants.
