The revolution will be livestreamed.
And the livestream will be clipped.
And the clip will be decontextualized.
And the decontextualized clip will be placed in a split screen next to a clip of something else entirely.
And the split screen will be captioned by someone with a strong interest in what conclusion you draw.
And the caption will travel further than the original.
And by the time the original context catches up, the conclusion is already formed in ten million minds.
And the ten million minds will defend the conclusion against the context, because they already organized their feelings around it, and feelings, once organized, do not enjoy being reorganized.
The revolution will be livestreamed.
This is a problem.
Not because livestreaming is bad.
Because the infrastructure the livestream travels through was not built to help you understand revolutions.
It was built to keep you watching.
Those are not the same thing.
They have never been the same thing.
Always follow the money.
What is happening in France and elsewhere has an 'iron rationality':

"Plebs raised like beasts of burden, to be fed the occasional panem et circenses, shit jobs and televised snake oil, are not — and will not be — receptive, on the day this game breaks down, to arguments about public decorum, respect for property, reverence for monuments and so on.
Those burning cars, historic buildings and shops are culturally and morally deprived. But the real culprits, the ones who should be made to pay, are the elites at the top who cultivated and wanted that deprivation, thinking it served their purposes.
Today the pressure cooker is about to blow. Even if this wave subsides, this is only the beginning, because Europe’s ruling classes are in no position — neither materially nor culturally — to change course. So fasten your seatbelts: we are heading for a crash."
Limitless growth is required in a society that exchanges value with fiat money. Multilateral Barter would result in a sustainable growth logic, but that would strip power from the economic elite that control fiat.
The Catholic church has a thing called Papal infallibility stating that the pope is preserved from the possibility of error when he teaches a doctrine of faith.
It seems we now also have "economist infallibility" when it comes to the doctrine of faith in "economic growth" preserving neo-liberal economists from the possibility of error,
... & so we continue to grow, & grow, & grow,
even as the earth crumbles under the crushing weight of their infallible ideology.
The youth of Europe, both native and immigrant, want a viable future in an economy that functions for everyone.
Stop falling for the manufactured divide.
Break free from the binary of hierarchy.
#Distributism is neither capitalist nor socialist. It doesn’t concentrate power with either the corporation or the state… Distributism ‘distributes’ power to the people through the guild or the trade association.

Imagine being given somewhere around 80 years on a planet floating through an incomprehensibly enormous universe, surrounded by billions of people you will never meet, mysteries you will never solve, places you will never see, and more knowledge than you could absorb in a thousand lifetimes...
and spending the whole damn thing worrying about money, arguing with strangers, impressing people you don't even like, and doing something you hate five days a week because somebody convinced you that was life.
I don't know, man.
I think we may have gotten a few things terribly wrong.

I’m genuinely fucking angry all the time. I don’t understand how everyone isn’t. Rape, genocide, lynching, fascism… WHY ISNT EVERYONE MORE FUCKING ANGRY
An early indicator of neoliberal rot.

Fuck ya... I think we're about to see a whole new form of burnout.
Social media made us anxious about what everyone else was doing.
AI is making us anxious about everything we could be doing.
And the fucked up part is, we actually can do so much more now.
But just because we can do 10x more doesn't mean we should.
The more we can do, the more we feel we should do. And the harder it becomes to switch off.
Its exhausting.
GenX is the last link to an all analog world. We’ll lead the way back.
Replying to @tibo_maker
Yeah, I feel the same, and it happens to me too. But I really think the solution is to have a more analog life outside of work. Just doing things that don't involve screens, like painting, working with your hands, spending time with actual humans, and disconnecting from technology for a while.

The fake, fraud, lie, scam, con job money system is in place to ENSLAVE & CONTROL Humanity. In REALITY, by working TOGETHER & SHARING Resources we could all have just 1 day work weeks & all needs met at ZERO Financial cost aka Contributionism.

Want to build a Holochain app? Don’t know where to start? The best way is to have your AI coding tool start from a working app.
Here’s one for you!
Now get started.
I built ProofPoll which is a real functional Holochain desktop app for forking and building your own Holochain app.
There's a years worth of developing with Holochain in it.

Silicon Valley oligarchs are currently attempting to hollow out what is left of our democratic systems of governance. This is part of their larger effort to usher in what Jill Lepore calls "The Artificial State," in which governance is outsourced to privately owned artificial intelligence, replacing the deliberation and debate inherent to democracy with automated decision making. AI, combined with our corrupt political system and buyable politicians, is gifting them the tools to carry out their dystopian vision for us all.
