Also, so great seeing my friend @tedtraylor and some of the young leaders he is pouring into.

THE POWER OF BUILDING YOUR LIFE ON GOD’S WORD
Something remarkable is happening. Bible sales have risen significantly in recent years, church attendance and Scripture engagement are surging especially with young people.
In this episode, Philip Nation shares why the Bible is foundational to our Christian life. The Bible reveals who God is, helps us understand who we are, and shows us the path of redemption.
Philip shows why regularly engaging with God’s Word is one of the most important factors in our spiritual growth.
Matt and Philip also offer practical advice for building a daily Bible habit. From beginning with the Gospels to choosing a consistent time and place, reading Scripture with your family, memorizing verses, and even handwriting passages, the goal isn’t simply to check a box—it’s to know God and become more like Jesus.
Philip also discusses Habits for Our Holiness and how spiritual disciplines are tools God uses to shape our character, deepen our relationship with Him, and strengthen our witness to others.
Thank you to our ministry partner “The Open Bible” from Thomas Nelson. This is a wonderful Bible to help you grow in Christ.

To have an abortion and be regretiul, repentant, and seek the Lord's forgiveness is one thing.
To have an abortion and be brash, celebratory, and laugh about it is a demonic thing.

Jesus is King.
You can’t impeach Him, and He ain’t going to resign. You didn’t vote Him into office, and you can’t vote Him out of office.
He reigns.

If your hope is in political candidates… they’ll eventually let you down.
If your hope is in Christ…
He’ll never let you down.

What am I going to do after the election results are in?
The same thing I’ve been doing throughout my 25+ years of ministry:
Pray for our leaders.
Preach Jesus as King!

Dear Christian, YOUR VOTE MATTERS!
As followers of Jesus, we're called to be salt and light—not just within the walls of the church, but in the world around us.
Politics matter because politicians make policies and pass laws that impact people's lives. So pray, do your homework, and vote according to your biblical convictions. And remember—our hope is not in a political party, a candidate, or an election outcome. Our hope is in JESUS!
Let's be people who pray faithfully, steward responsibly, and love others regardless of how they vote.
Get out and VOTE! 🇺🇸

Parents: “I don’t want to push my Christian beliefs on my kids.”
Those same parents: “We only cheer for certain sports teams in this house.”
The truth is, we all pass our beliefs, values, and preferences down to our children. The question isn’t whether we’re influencing them, but what we’re influencing them with.
We often have no problem passing down the things that matter less while hesitating to teach them the things that matter most.
Parents, if you don’t intentionally teach your children biblical truth, the world will be more than happy to “push its beliefs” on them.
Don’t leave your children’s worldview to chance. Disciple them. The world certainly won’t hesitate to.

You can ignore Jesus.
You can mock Jesus.
You can make talking about Jesus illegal.
You can persecute Jesus followers.
But, you cannot stop Jesus.
There’s just something about that Name!

This is an insightful and desperately needed article. It voices, in ways far better than I could, what has been on my mind for a long time. Please read not only this post, but also the link to the article behind it. Way to go, Paul Worcester, once again!!!
THE RUTHLESS ELIMINATION OF LAZINESS paulworcester.substack.com/p…
“Resolved, never to lose one moment of time; but to improve it in the most profitable way I possibly can.” Jonathan Edwards
I once told my father, John Worcester a church planter and missionary trainer, that Edwards worked thirteen hours a day. He quickly replied with a smirk on his face, “What did he do with all his other time?” My father is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. I have many memories of coming into his office late at night while he was grinding away on sermons or training materials for other church planters. I never felt neglected by his hard work. He let us interrupt him and took time to play sports with us, teach us the Bible, and even coach our teams. I am so grateful to have grown up in a household with a real biblical man who not only loved us well but also worked diligently.
I also think of my mentor and coauthor @SteveShadrach who as I write is in Asia on a monthlong trip leading multiple trainings for different groups of leaders, with stops in seven countries. He is at the stage where he could kick back, write books, and leave the traveling and training to the young bucks. Instead, he keeps going to come alongside and lift up the hands of local leaders across the world. He is a hero-maker in every sense of the word!
These men have spent decades cultivating a love for Christ and habits of faithful service that prepared them for how they are serving now. Their zeal in the final lap of life challenges me to consider what I am cultivating in this season.

We are not helping young leaders by pampering them or encouraging them to avoid every stressful environment and difficult assignment. We need to teach them to apply biblical wisdom, which includes a passionate desire to do as much good for God’s glory as possible. paulworcester.substack.com/p…

Today is a great day to remember that Jesus and Satan are not equals playing spiritual chess against one another.
Jesus is God.
Jesus is King.
Jesus is Lord.
And, one day even Satan will bow at the feet of King Jesus, before Jesus throws him into Hell for all eternity (Rev. 20).
Jesus wins!

The Five Solas
Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone): The Bible is the supreme, final, and inerrant authority for Christian faith and practice, standing above church traditions, popes, or councils.
Sola Fide (Faith Alone): Justification before God is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from human works, rituals, or personal merits.
Sola Gratia (Grace Alone): Salvation is an unearned, unmerited gift of God’s grace, entirely initiated and accomplished by God rather than human will or effort.
Solus Christus (Christ Alone): Jesus Christ is the sole mediator, prophet, priest, and king, and His finished substitutionary work is the exclusive basis for salvation.
Soli Deo Gloria (To the Glory of God Alone): All of life, creation, and salvation exist for the supreme glory of God alone.

“Peace if possible; Truth at all costs.”
“I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I can do no other, so help me God. Amen.”
“Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that a man could stake his life on it a thousand times.”
On October 31 in 1517 Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the church door in Wittenburg, Germany, sparking the Protestant Reformation. We remember the day because Luther and other reformers called the church to embrace the Biblical Gospel, reaffirm foundational doctrines, and firmly stand in these convictions. May we stand for truth with courage in these evil days also! 😤⚔️

“A zealous man in religion is pre-eminently a man of one thing. It is not enough to say that he is earnest, hearty, uncompromising, thorough-going, whole-hearted, fervent in spirit. He sees one thing, he cares for one thing, he lives for one thing, he is swallowed-up in one thing — and that one thing is to please God. Whether he lives — or whether he dies; whether he has health — or whether he has sickness; whether he is rich — or whether he is poor; whether he pleases man — or whether he gives offence; whether he is thought wise — or whether he is thought foolish; whether he gets blame — or whether he gets praise; whether he gets honor, or whether he gets shame — for all this the zealous man cares nothing at all. He burns for one thing — and that one thing is to please God, and to advance God's glory. If he is consumed in the very burning — he is content. He feels that, like a lamp, he is made to burn, and if consumed in burning — he has but done the work for which God appointed him. Such a one will always find a sphere for his zeal. If he cannot preach, and work, and give money — he will cry, and sigh, and pray. Yes, if he is only a pauper, on a perpetual bed of sickness — he will make the wheels of sin around him drive heavily, by continually interceding against it. If he cannot fight in the valley with Joshua — then he will do the prayer-work of Moses, Aaron, and Hur, on the hill. (Exod. 17:9-13.) If he is cut off from working himself — he will give the Lord no rest until help is raised up from another quarter, and the work is done. This is what I mean when I speak of "zeal" in religion.”
