Why did I watch a Catholic worship service?
Because many Catholics on X said that I shouldn’t talk about it without having been to one. Because of the situation with my mother, I can’t actually go to one in person. So, I watched on tv.
What did I see?
A lot of ritual without emotion. I’ve been told that Catholics like it that way. Predictable. The same everywhere in the world.
Did they read from the Bible?
Yes, they did. Several passages.
Did they preach the gospel?
No, they did not. The gospel is the good news of how Jesus saves us. It’s more than 4 specific books in the New Testament. Catholics don’t seem to know what you are talking about when you say “the gospel”.
Do I intend to watch another mass?
No, there’s nothing in the Catholic Church for me. I disagree with a lot of their man made doctrine and will continue to follow Jesus in the biblical way of worship without twisting scripture to fit what the magisterium has declared.
The Bible says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus and I’m standing on that promise. My past doesn’t define me. I’m a new creation. I’m a white as snow child of God. Hallelujah!

To read the apostolic fathers is to cease being Roman Catholic. In them you'll find no treasury of merits. No immaculate conception. No bodily assumption of Mary. No purgatory. No confession to priests. No papal infallibility. No Bishop of Rome as head of the church. Rome demands we receive these things as apostolic. WHERE?

Today is a good day to remind everyone that “Islamophobia” is not real. It’s a made-up term created by the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1990s to provide cover for Islamic terrorism.

Listening to the vitriol toward Israel by many at the U.N. this week makes us wonder if the prophecy of Zechariah 14:2 that “all nations will come against Israel” is about to be fulfilled before our eyes. It is time to join John in praying “Even so come Lord Jesus” Rev22:20

How good is McGonigle? A stat from Tigers PR Peter Chase:
Kevin McGonigle last night reached base safely for the 252nd time this season, just the fifth rookie to reach that mark this century: Judge, Ichiro, Pujols and Trout. All Rookies of Year

Another one on McGonigle: Kevin McGonigle is one of only two rookies in baseball history with at least 94 runs, 26 doubles, 17 home runs, 65 RBI and 92 walk. The other? Ted Williams (1939).

FIVE TRUTHS TO ENCOURAGE YOU WHEN YOU FEEL DEFEATED
1️⃣ YOU HAVE THE VICTORY
You may feel beaten down, but God is renewing your inner man day by day. God is not losing His grip on you!
📖 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, 16
2️⃣ YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY
When you don’t even know how to pray, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. And Christ Himself makes intercession for us.
📖 Romans 8:26; Hebrews 7:25
3️⃣ YOUR WEAKNESS IS YOUR STRENGTH
When we come to the end of ourselves, we discover that our strength comes from God, not ourselves.
📖 2 Corinthians 12:9-10; Zechariah 4:6
4️⃣ YOUR TRIALS ARE MAKING YOU RICH
Our present troubles are temporary, but God is working an eternal weight of glory through them.
📖 2 Corinthians 4:17; Romans 8:18
5️⃣ YOUR BATTLES WILL BE OVER SOON
We don't know the day or hour, but we know Christ is coming for His people. The battle isn't forever. One day, we will be with the Lord forever!
📖 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
So when you're tired, don't quit.
When you're weak, trust His strength.
When you're discouraged, remember His promises.
Your victory is guaranteed, not because you're strong, but because HE is.
Save this. Print it. Keep it close.
Print this and keep it somewhere you’ll see it often. Put it beside your bed, in your Bible, on your desk, or wherever you can reach for it when you need encouragement.

How do you know that you are truly born again?
The Bible does not teach that assurance rests on how consistently you perform, how many mistakes you make, or whether you have reached some arbitrary level of Christian maturity.
Your assurance rests in Jesus Christ.
If you have trusted Christ as your Savior, you have passed from death unto life. You are not saved because you have become perfect, you are saved because Christ is sufficient.
At the same time, the new birth produces a changed life.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
A believer can stumble. A believer can backslide. A believer can struggle with sin and weakness.
If you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved. Your salvation does not depend upon passing an arbitrary test or reaching sinless perfection.
Look to Christ. Trust His finished work.

To my Muslim brother: I’m not your enemy. I ran toward the same truth you’re seeking.
I prayed where you pray. I fasted when you fast. I defended what you defend, with everything I had.I
didn’t examine the Bible to betray anyone. I examined it because I loved the truth, and I believed the truth had nothing to fear from investigation.
What I found didn’t make me your enemy. It made me a man who has to tell you what he saw.
I found that the book we called corrupted is the true record, and that it’s been pointing to Jesus the whole time. I found a God who doesn’t wait at the end of a scale, but who came down, lived the life I couldn’t, died the death I feared, and rose so I’d never have to wonder again.
“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.
Brother, you are tired. I know, because I was too.
He’s not asking you to carry more.
He’s asking you to put it down.
I’m not writing to win. I already won and lost every argument. I’m writing because I found the One we were both looking for, and I can’t keep Him to myself.
His name is Jesus. And He is worth everything it costs.

When I was Muslim, I refused to see this. Now that I am SAVED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, I CAN PROCLAIM IT!
Every Passover lamb for 1,500 years was a finger pointing at ONE Man.
Here’s what that means.
Every year, every Jewish family killed a lamb. Millions of lambs across the centuries. Each one died so a family could live. Each one temporary, you had to do it again next year.
Here’s what changed my mind.
It was a 1,500-year-old IOU. A promise that one day a FINAL Lamb would come and end the whole system.
Then John the Baptist saw Jesus walking toward him and said seven words: “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” John 1:29.
THE Lamb. The final one.
The One all the millions were pointing at.
Islam handed me a religion of repeated effort, do it again, do it again, do it again.
Jesus was the sacrifice that never has to be repeated.
Every lamb for fifteen centuries was a finger.
He was what they were all pointing at.

I don’t hate Muslims—I just don’t want them migrating to my country.
Islam is not a religion; it’s a violent political force of conquest, murder, totalitarian rule, and oppression.
It’s not “racist” to reject that—it’s rational.

Before I converted to Christianity from Islam, this was the argument that put me on the mat. It’s almost stupid how simple it is.
The minimal facts. The historical bedrock that virtually ALL scholars grant, Christian, agnostic, skeptic, doesn’t matter:
Jesus died by crucifixion. His followers had experiences they were CONVINCED were the risen Jesus. Enemies like Paul and skeptics like James flipped overnight and died for it. The tomb story launched in the one city where a body could end it.
Now run the fork, bro.
If Jesus didn’t rise… Christianity DIES. Paul says it himself: “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile.” 1 Corinthians 15:17. The Bible bets everything on one checkable event.
But if He DID rise…
Islam CAN’T be true. Because Islam’s entire position, Surah 4:157, is that he wasn’t even crucified. One unwitnessed sentence, six hundred years late, against the most attested event in ancient history.
I sat with that fork for MONTHS.
I tried so hard to stay Muslim. I WANTED Islam to win.
But the evidence wasn’t on my side. And deep down, past the pride… I knew it.
I knew Christ was King.

Here is another way the Quran gets history WRONG:
Abraham’s father is given a name the Bible never uses.
Surah 6:74: “Abraham said to his father AZAR, ‘Do you take idols as gods?’”
But the Bible names Abraham’s father TERAH. Genesis 11:26: “Terah.., fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran.” Repeated in Joshua 24:2 and the genealogy Jesus’ own lineage runs through. Luke 3:34.
The Quran calls him Azar; the Bible, consistently, Terah.
(Fair note: Muslim commentators offer various harmonizations. Azar as a second name, a title, or an idol’s name. Those attempts exist. But the plain reading is a different personal name for the same man, and the Bible’s “Terah” is triple-attested across Genesis, Joshua, and Luke.)
The Bible’s genealogies are obsessively consistent, the same names recurring across books written centuries apart, because lineage was everything for tracking the promised Seed.
And that’s the point of all those genealogies: they’re a chain of custody for the Messiah.
From Abraham to David to Jesus, “the book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” Matthew 1:1.
The Quran varied the name.
The Bible guarded the line, every link, because the whole point was to prove Jesus was the promised Seed of Abraham and Son of David, exactly as prophesied.
Names matter when you’re tracking a promise across two thousand years.

I have no problem with Islam. I’m just against beheading, stoning, marrying little girls, sexual slavery, taqiyya, slave trading, rape, forced conversions, jihad, burqa, attacking other religions, child abuse, women abuse, animal abuse, multiple wives, murder, Sharia, terrorism, brainwashing, intolerance, greed, anti-science, torture, illiteracy, gluttony, genital mutilation, inbreeding. Does it make me Islamophobic?

Can I be candid for a second? The hardest part of leaving Islam wasn’t theology. It was the word “apostate.”
Murtad. The one who leaves. In many places, that word is a death sentence. In every place, it’s a social execution.
I’m so lucky to be in Texas where I can defend myself.
I knew that walking toward Jesus might cost me everything. My family. My safety. My whole world.
And I almost let that fear keep me from the truth.
Then I read about a man named Stephen, dying under a pile of stones for the name of Jesus, looking up and saying, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” Acts 7:60.
He wasn’t dying afraid. He was dying FREE.
But this is the hinge of the whole thing. It’s that I was scared of what following Jesus would cost me.
But I met people who’d lost everything for Him and had MORE peace than I did with everything intact.
That’s not normal. You don’t lose your whole life and gain peace.
…unless what you found is worth more than what you lost.
“Whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 16:25.
I didn’t know it would be the first time I was actually alive.
