The tech at Waiyaki way is shit man. They need to change how they operate. You can have skilled engineers but the organisation structure can fail them. Everyone who has tried to run tech departments like the rest of the company has failed at a critical point. Tech is more like how special agents work. You go to the field, do your thing. Now hours, no rigidity like the typical police department. Picture this. There's a critical CVE in the middle of the night. You can't call anyone in because you forced a 9-5 structure on them. Ordinarily you should have some people on call. They could be out hanging with friends but are able to respond when being paged. That's how you run tech.
