The Koreaboo obsession with stalking Korean corners of the internet and using them to judge Korean society is an endless cycle of lies and rumor-mongering. Their sources of information are otaku communities full of antisocial, hostile femcels and incels. Most of them have probably never even had a single conversation with an actual Korean person.

K-pop fans who are excessively obsessed with Korea and identify themselves as woke feminists have lately become so caught up in their bizarre self-appointed mission to “educate stupid pick-me Korean women” that they go around targeting random Korean women on Instagram and TikTok, flooding their posts with hateful comments about Korean beauty standards and plastic surgery. And whenever they feel even a little guilty about viciously bullying these same women, they disguise themselves as man-hating feminists by saying things like, “Korean men are genuinely ugly and misogynistic. Chinese men are much more handsome and treat women better.” This allows them to rationalize their behavior as though they have somehow contributed to feminism around the world. Even now, just looking at the quoted post, where they keep saying things like, “We're criticizing the problematic aspects of Korean society,” makes it clear how firmly convinced they are that they're doing something morally righteous and fighting for justice.
