The part that you left out however, is that the Liberal governments have spent years flooding Canada with unskilled immigrants, neglecting any quotas or vetting for skilled labour. They have also created a significant backlash against immigration, so that even if we wanted to bring skilled labour in, the backlash from the public would be significant

What began as an abduction investigation has turned into much more. Police allege that on July 27, a man was abducted at gunpoint near Finch Avenue and Bayview Avenue and taken to another location, where his attackers demanded access to his cryptocurrency. He was beaten, released and warned not to contact police. The investigation has since led to seven arrests, including three members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and the seizure of four firearms and more than 2,700 rounds of ammunition. Police say the ammunition was stolen from a Canadian military base. The investigation remains ongoing.

After spending his entire day in court listening to victim impact statements, he kindly took a few minutes to speak with me about a family facing life without their father.
