I pray Southern Baptists will take the time & intentionality to rightly deal with them in a way that keeps us unapologetically faithful to the Bible, authentically loving neighbor, & in alignment with our Baptist polity.
Again, the issues the SBC faces are not unimportant and not to be ignored, but I fear we often focus on these at the expense of the things I have mentioned which are critical not only to who we are as Southern Baptists, but to our future as well.

The last few years our convention has been embroiled in a number of issues related to theological, social, & polity matters. These matters are very important & cannot be ignored.
80 yrs ago today, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy to fight a genocidal regime. One of my fav hist. pics is Ike & men of 101st Airborne at D-Day. Love what this pic communicates: courage, determination, ldrshp. Thankful for those who have served our country.

The registered attend. for wk 1 of youth camp at @fallscreekok this year is 700 more than wk 1 last year. Praise the Lord for that!
Yesterday, we a had a great pastors’ fellowship at Falls Creek & the room was full! Here’s three takeaways…
3. During the fellowship, I saw pastors gathered around another praying for him. The pastor prayed for is in an area recently hit by tornadoes. He said he was tired/overwhelmed. That prayer meant a lot to him. I love the camaraderie our pastors have for one another! So important!
