The objective standard is the same for everyone. Actual unjust use of power is measured by evidence and outcomes, not by who claims the label of oppressed. Right now we see this play out constantly. Men in women’s sports get called inclusion while female athletes lose scholarships and titles. Crime stats get ignored so certain groups avoid accountability. Parents who question medical transitions for kids get labeled bigots. In each case the rule is the same. The marginalized side decides what counts as harm, and anyone who disagrees is the oppressor. Lived experience is useful input. It is not a veto. Equal rules beat letting people rewrite reality because their feelings told them they deserve special treatment.
