We spent last week in Cambridge for a workshop on post-quantum cryptography and fast finality.
We share more details in this blog post.
New blog post out: @ethlambda_lean at the Cambridge post-quantum and fast finality workshops.
More than 120 researchers and engineers together for a week of post-quantum cryptography, formal verification, fast finality, and hash functions. In this post, we go through what was discussed, where things are headed, and what we’re taking back to ethlambda.

Back to the usual schedule! Community Call tomorrow, 3:30 PM UTC on X. We’ll do a recap of the last few weeks and what we’re focused on next.

A lot of work is going into making sure Ethereum's move to PQ doesn't come with compromises. We love being part of this effort, and we'll keep pushing it forward.
No ethlambda Community Call today.
We'll share the date for the next one soon. In the meantime, we have some updates coming your way. Stay tuned.
Proud to see all ethlambda validators perform as expected through Sepolia's Glamsterdam transition.
Great milestone for the team.

ethrex handled Sepolia’s transition to Glamsterdam without issues!
We’re running 100 validators on Sepolia across different setups, all backed by ethrex.
After our first appearance in an EF upgrade announcement, we’re proud to follow through with a smooth fork on Sepolia and help ship Ethereum’s next upgrade. Next stop: Hoodi, with our sights on mainnet.
A shoutout to @ethlambda_lean: ten of our validators ran ethlambda, and all ten performed as expected through the transition.

We now have support for Beacon Chain in addition to Lean Chain

Here are some of the blocks we proposed:

We are excited to announce that ethlambda transitioned successfully to the Gloas/Glamsterdam fork in Sepolia. No validator duties were missed, and we already proposed multiple blocks.

Don't forget, our Community Call is tomorrow at 3:30 PM UTC on X. We'll cover what we've been shipping and where we're headed next.
This branch is going to be merged into main soon, and future ethlambda releases will include the new Beacon Chain functionality.
The code and instructions on how to run are available in this branch: github.com/lambdaclass/ethla…
We'll keep pushing the limits on post-quantum scalability, even during the transition from Beacon to Lean Chain.
The idea is that ethlambda can run in either Lean mode or Beacon mode. To make that possible, we're building the client on a shared base and modularizing the differences. Over the upcoming forks, those differences will keep shrinking.
Our entrance into Lean Ethereum was our way to help in Ethereum's transition to post-quantum cryptography. Because of the rapidly shrinking Q-day estimates, the post-quantum migration has become more urgent. We feel moving to the Beacon Chain is the logical next step.
We are working on adding Beacon Chain support to ethlambda, progressively implementing the needed functionality for post-quantum cryptography, and will actively contribute to Ethereum mainnet.
This achievement is partly the result of improvements to our aggregation pipeline, which we'll be merging in the coming weeks.
We also made some breaking changes to spec containers, that we're proposing to add in future devnets.
Yesterday we reached 3-slot finality in our experimental devnet! The full setup included 32 nodes, 8s slots, and a total of 1024 validators, aggregated each slot in 8 sub-committees.
The recording from today's Community Call is already available. Catch up on the latest updates and what's coming next, on demand.
