Stablecoins are becoming a real part of the global payments infrastructure, and understanding how they're being used matters more than ever.
Proud of the team for putting together another comprehensive look at the market, alongside perspectives from some of the industry's leading institutions.
Worth a read!

Financial markets are moving toward 24/7 -- the infrastructure underneath them needs to be ready for that shift
On Oct. 14, I’ll be joining Yoshi Yokokawa from @AlpacaHQ, and Matthew Savarese from @Nasdaq at @RBLTSecurities 18th Annual FinTech Summit for a virtual panel, Markets Never Sleep: Building the Architecture for 24/7 Markets.
We’ll dig into what it takes to build markets that operate around the clock, from data and infrastructure to the systems institutions need to participate with confidence.
The event is virtual, so be sure to register here if you’d like to tune in: rosenblatt-18th-annual-finte…

Another really cool feature of RWAS<GO>: the data is intraday and tickerized, so you can do things like this👇
Our stablecoin dashboard is now live and updating hourly at RWAS<GO> on @TheTerminal. Thanks to @ethanyish and the entire @AlliumLabs team for providing the underlying data!
Let’s go Willie!!
Solana accounts for ~45% of adjusted stablecoin volume this year.
On House of Sol, Ben Brophy and William Lai, Head of Institutions at @AlliumLabs, talk about what institutions are asking about stablecoins, tokenized assets, and DeFi.

We focus on standardizing the evidence, not outcomes on our recent comment letter with FINRA
We filed a comment letter with FINRA on modernizing its best execution guidance. Our recommendation is the one we made to the SEC in August: standardize evidence, not outcomes.
Proving a broker got you a good price has rested on the protected quote. That object is getting less universal. The same trade can arrive as an order-management log from one venue and a settled transaction on a public ledger from another. Both accurate, neither automatically comparable.
A reported trade, a blockchain inclusion and legal settlement can be three different events. A confirmation does not prove the customer received the security.

Stablecoin data is now live on the Bloomberg Terminal at RWAS , powered by Allium.
The people asking us about stablecoins changed this year. It used to be crypto funds. Now it is treasury teams, payments teams and rates desks. They want to know what settled, where, and whether the number holds up in a memo someone else will read.
Institutions want the same certainty in onchain data they already have in traditional markets. That's been the bet since day one.
Thank you to the team, and to the Bloomberg team for setting the bar.

We're sharing our latest update report on the state of stablecoins & payments.
Read about supply, payments, Treasury demand, cross-border activity, and agentic and card payments!
Our new State of Stablecoins and Payments report is out.
We were going to wait until the end of Q3, but with the CLARITY Act Senate vote here, we're sharing an initial version.
So far in 2026:
Supply: $303 billion, up 6% in a year
Treasury demand: about 58 cents of new demand per dollar of supply (Citizens x Allium estimate)
Payments: at least $401 billion, up 42%. Businesses receive 58% to 64%
Cross-border: 0.31% of fiat payment value, growing 64% against 9% for fiat (FXC Intelligence x Allium estimate)
Agentic payments: 29 million a month on x402, at 6 cents each
Cards: $108 million a month on one issuer, 8x in a year

$295B in stablecoins → ~$170B in incremental Treasury demand
But the real finding is composition.
Payments and dollar savings balances stick through volatility. Exchange balances churn with trading cycles.
That's the difference between durable Treasury demand and flow that leaves. You can only see it onchain. Great work by the team with @citizensbank 👇
What does stablecoin adoption mean for U.S. Treasury demand?
We worked with @CitizensBank to answer that question using Allium’s onchain data.
The result: a new report connecting how stablecoins are used onchain with their impact on U.S. funding markets.
The analysis finds that ~$295B in stablecoin supply translates to an estimated ~$170B in incremental U.S. Treasury demand. But the more important finding is where that demand comes from: payments, dollar savings and onchain activity behave very differently from exchange-held balances.
This is exactly the kind of work we want to do more of at Allium: combining institutional expertise with onchain intelligence to answer questions that increasingly matter to global financial markets.

Solana accounts for 12% of onchain RWA market cap.
But 32% of RWA spot volume.
We worked with @Solana to look beyond assets issued and ask a different question: how are RWAs being used onchain?
Across 12 months of data, we found $14.7B in RWA spot volume on Solana, 43M trades, and a market increasingly defined by smaller, more frequent transactions.
The full report maps 37 issuers across fixed income, private funds, equities, commodities and active strategies -- and looks at where issuance, ownership and trading are actually happening.

Trump just said the CFTC is working to bring Hyperliquid to the US legally.
What started as a crypto platform is evolving into a house for all of finance, as equities, commodities, and pre-IPOs now account for over 50% of volume.
Millions of new traders could be onboarded, alongside an influx of issuers, brokers, market makers and infrastructure providers.
24/7, live Hyperliquid data will become a must-have for any serious trader.

If Rule 611 is rescinded, the best-execution duty doesn't change. The evidence behind it does.
Any firm whose best-ex review leans on protected quotes has a process question to answer.
