Another season, another Tivy record being rewritten!
Sophomore quarterback Cohen Stehling turned in a record-breaking performance Friday night against Austin LBJ, throwing for 515 yards on just 17 completions and setting a new Tivy single-game passing record.
Stehling surpassed the previous mark of 503 yards set by former Tivy great and eventual Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel against San Antonio Madison in 2010.
Cohen also tossed 8 touchdown passes in the Antlers’ 70-14 win, tying the school record set by Colin Rose during the 2025 season.
The standard continues to rise in Kerrville America.
Records are made to be broken.

Tivy’s sophomore QB Cohen Stehling has accounted for 9 touchdowns once again and we’re still in the third quarter with Tivy up 70-14.
He has over 500 passing yards, 8 TDs with his arm and over 100 rushing yards.
Back at Antler Stadium as Tivy (3-0) hosts LBJ Austin (1-2) in its District 13-4A DI opener with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
It’s the Antlers’ debut season in 4A DI following realignment and will put their 3-0 non-district start to the test.

Goodness gracious. Stehling finds Kenyon Armelin for an 82-yard touchdown to extend the lead further. It’s Kenyon Armelin’s fourth TD and he’s well over 200 yards receiving.
Stehling has six passing TDs and a rushing score in the first half.
