This will sound harsh but it is the most important lesson you can learn in this space.
If you pressed the green buy button of your own volition and the trade did not work out and you blame someone else you are weak.
If you invested time of your own volition and the situation did not work out and you blame someone else you are weak.
Not only that, but this space will eventually chew you up and spit you out a broken husk.
Probably the most important lesson you can learn, and one I have learned after countless mistakes and genuine actual rugs: you cannot borrow conviction in this game, from anyone, not the best trader, not the best founder.
Use X for inspiration and ideas.
But never ever for conviction.
Craft and build your own or you will shit the bed at the first 50% correction every time and then buy back in 3x higher when it eventually turns.
I mean this with love and respect and empathy and humility.
But it is truly one of the most important lessons you can learn for growth and peace of mind.

fear of missing out
- everyone's making it except me
I started 2021 with less than 3k and ended it with nothing. in "the greatest bull market of all time."
a market with 80% daily candles on alts, 10x setups every single day and multi billion dollar meme coin runs.
opportunity was never the problem. my approach, my mindset and my execution were.
what can you do?
- learn how compounding actually works, world ETF
- read the psychology of money by morgan housel to build your core mindset
- create an "if..., then..." rule set for your trading framework
- define the core principles that guide every decision you make
- stay consistent. profitability comes from studying market dynamics every single week. onchain, every single day. basically learning by doing.
- set up the right tools. use tradingview for watchlists across crypto, stocks and commodities so you get a quick market overview every morning. if you want to go further, add something like bloomberg to stay on top of financial news and macro.
- track your transactions from day one with a tool like blockpit. when you off ramp to your bank, you'll need to prove your trading history. clean, taxed money in your account is the best feeling there is.
... there's a lot more to it. I'll keep sharing as much as I can here.
it's about building a framework, clear rules, core principles, the right mindset. timing beats time. clean setups only. cash is king.
there will always be another narrative, another bull market, another setup. build the foundation first.
the drive to make it matters, that inner drive when you come from nothing, I had it too. just don't let it push you into emotional decisions, like sizing up or rotating into something else because another coin ran before yours. instead, cut losers and add to winners with intention, backed by strong narratives and momentum.
turning profitable was one of the hardest things I've ever done. looking back, what made the difference was protecting what I made. moving profits to the bank took the emotion out of it and gave me a fixed core size for my positions. the market never runs out of opportunities. traders run out of capital bc most cant control their emotional decision making while comparing to others.
take profits in uptrends. let them sit. stop rotating like a maniac. move with intention, stay calm and trust what years of watching the market have taught you.
stop comparing yourself to traders with a decade of screen time.
earn it.

onchain trading
I focus on strong narratives and stay aware this is a full attention market only. I profit from momentum during leg ups and off ramp capital gradually instead of oversizing in those phases. Once the screenshot mindset kicks in, I off ramp more aggressively. Cash is king, especially in my bank account.
During consolidation, I do mostly nothing and protect my capital. I spot bottomed out patterns, read the market and scale into the right narratives as momentum slowly comes back. Repeat.
It's completely normal to drop off my port ATH during these phases and the worst thing I could do is panic sell or overtrade the bags I'm still holding like a maniac, obsessing over port ATHs instead of appreciating the profits I made during the last momentum phase. Only thinking about the highs is a psychological trap. I know I'm skilled and experienced enough to reach new highs with new opportunities in the next momentum phase, so I stay calm and unemotional, patiently waiting for the market to do its thing. At the same time, I'm always ready to change my bias if the major trend or new developments require me to reconsider my framework.
A lot of us, me included early on, did the opposite, sizing up or sitting idle into leg ups instead of off ramping and protecting from there, then overtrading all the way down during consolidation instead of doing nothing with cash in the bank. Emotional overtrading, trying to make it as fast as possible, blaming external factors instead of our own decision making. For me, the first step was looking at my own execution issues.
Nobody cares how much I roundtripped on a ticker everyone will forget about in a few weeks. The "this coin will make me a million dollars" mindset that used to kick in with every coin I was in limited my profitability. At the end of the day, I log off, sit in my room and nobody is there congratulating me for farming all that aura on transparent trading platforms. Main character syndrome is unprofitable. I always come back to the principle that cash is king and capital protection is everything.
For me, riding a bull market works best by buying into majors (L1), narrative altcoin leaders (tokenization, revenue, AI...), leading crypto stocks and one leading meme coin that emerged early (CASHCAT), then doing nothing and taking profits gradually into HTF leg ups. Holding my port with comfy entries is much easier there than onchain. Onchain needs a different approach for me, where off ramping is all that counts. Trying to demonstrate that with my fomo wallet.

Most traders think technical analysis is the study of patterns.
It isn’t.
Technical analysis is the study of reactions.
A pattern isn’t the signal. A pattern simply creates a place where the market has to make a decision.
The reaction to that decision is the signal.
Once you see that, you stop trading drawings and start reading behavior.

Update $BONK
congrats for big win
The previous chart provided exactly a 50% move and I offered the TP almost at the top.
Now I will only re-enter the game on consolidation and retest box or on the flip of the uptrend.
Otherwise, you can do whatever you want, I'm not interested.
$BONK On the macro level, I still don't see anything really bullish. The main structure hasn't changed, and until it does, any movement should only be considered temporary.
That said, on the lower time frames, it's clear that the price is bottoming out: selling pressure has eased, the market is absorbing, and an orderly structure is forming. This creates the right conditions for a technical rebound.
So yes:
it is not a change in the macro trend,
but it is a bullish structure on the lower time frames that could offer a good rebound.
Just don't confuse a technical rebound with a market reversal.

There’s a quiet war being waged beneath the surface of crypto.
And most people have no idea who’s winning it.
Centralized power is slowly, methodically, wrapping its hands around the very systems that were built to escape it. Behind the scenes, the same few entities that dominate the central exchange world are now embedding themselves inside the decentralized one - buying influence, funding development, and positioning their control where it’s sometimes least visible.
It’s happening subtly. And quickly.
Not always through overt ownership or press releases, but through layers of shells, investment arms, “ecosystem funds,” and partnerships that make tracing the lines sometimes impossible. What looks like a field of independent, community-driven protocols often connects back to the same boardrooms - the same money, the same intent. And that intent is simple: control the rails of permissionless finance without appearing to.
We’ve entered a stage where decentralization itself has become a marketing term instead of a way of life. The illusion of choice is the product. Users are told they have freedom because there are multiple options - but when every road leads back to the same gatekeeper, that freedom becomes theater. The new monopoly doesn’t always advertise itself. It doesn’t need to. It just wears the mask of community and speaks the language of liberation.
The corruption of ideals rarely happens with force. It happens through convenience. Through interfaces that feel too smooth to question. Through liquidity that’s too deep to resist. Through infrastructure that promises openness but is centrally controlled in silence. And slowly, the rebellion that birthed crypto - the movement against control - starts serving the very interests it once defied.
This isn’t conspiracy. It’s reality. It’s happening now.
And the tragedy is that most people won’t see it until it’s irreversible.
Our job - the ones who still believe in what this movement stood for - is to drag these connections into the light. To demand transparency not as a courtesy, but as a condition of participation. To refuse comfort when it comes packaged with captivity. Because decentralization without verifiability is just theater. And governance without independence is just PR.
If we don’t expose the connections, we’ll end up right back where we started - living under systems that promise freedom while quietly taking it away. The only difference will be that this time, the control will wear the mask of decentralization.
The illusion of choice ends when truth is revealed.
And truth is the one thing they can’t tokenize, buy, or hide forever.

Momma I made it 🥹
This is an emotional milestone for me.
Seeing one million dollars in my account is not about the money itself, it is about what it represents.
I am a first generation Latino who grew up watching my parents work long hours with relentless discipline and grit so my siblings and I could have a better life than they did.
From them I learned that nothing meaningful comes without sacrifice and consistent effort.
Life will test you, it will knock you down, but resilience and discipline are what push you forward.
This milestone is not just for me, it is for them.
It is proof that their sacrifices meant something and that their lessons carried me here.
People talk about luck, but the truth is you create your own luck by showing up every day, staying disciplined when it’s easier to quit, and believing in yourself when no one else does.
I feel blessed beyond words, and I am thankful to God, to my parents, to my wife, and to the journey that shaped me.
I will continue growing this portfolio with the goal of retiring my parents and giving my wife the life she deserves.
That has always been the mission.
One million is not the finish line, it is just the beginning.

Yes.
Exactly.
People are overcomplicating it way too much.
A few months ago when $ETH was sub $2000 there were tons of people on CT saying ETH wouldn't make new ATH this cycle. Honestly plenty of people were saying it months before that too when we were trading at the 2-3k zone as well.
Simply because of how long the consolidation/chop was taking- and people were viewing that as weakness or that "this time is different".
Meanwhile, just like $XRP before it, and $BTC before that, $ETH made new all time highs (and will likely continue to climb to some multiple of this by end of cycle).
And just like Bitcoin, XRP, and ETH, plenty of alts (including $CRV and $CVX) will make new ATH this cycle as well. Especially ones like CRV/CVX that have fundamentals that are 10x stronger than the last time they were at ATH AND that are going to experience a market environment (for the first time) in which Bitcoin is making a multi-year cycle top (last one was in 2017)- which is the point at which we see the biggest money rotation/alt inflows.
Yes 100x more alts in the space, but 90% of those are memes that have come and gone or will be gone in some months and a majority of those will not attract much of the capital at cycle end (of which there will also be 10x more than the last cycle).
Don't overcomplicate it.
A rising tide lifts all boats (assuming they have some fundamental value and a chart that suggests a long period of accumulation has had the chance to take place).
Replying to @CredibleCrypto
If Eth will go way avobe its previous Ath, could we use the same logic for Crv and Cvx to go way above 6 and 60 respectively?

For all you haters of DeepSeek who think it's just a piece of CCP propaganda riddle me this:
Y didn't a large Chinese corporate, university, or local govt funded startup that has received hundreds of billions of yuan in govt funding to circumvent US high end chip controls and obtain supremacy in AI create DeepSeek?
Y was it some random Hangzhou hedge fund? The CCP has no love for hedge funds, if you have ever traded China u would know how frustrating it is sometimes to trade vs. equity and bond markets in the west.
I don't know shit about AI, but this doesn't sound like the way China likes to "innovate" and the wrong type of people are doing the innovating. These aren't my original thots, thanks @Gavekal.
But the more you question, the less you want to buy US markets trading at an all time high of 230% of GDP, that's higher than the 2000 tech bubble at 175% or 1929 at 130%. And if people rotate out of US stocks where are the cap gains taxes going to come from? Instead of a 3% deficit in 2028 (one of Bessent's 3 arrows), maybe it will be 7% 8% 9% or 10%?
Once you start to question, your mind goes to dangerous places.
