Unfamiliar with why it’s a big deal that #PFAS is shedding from artificial turf into users & waterways? Read here about adverse health effects of PFAS including immune disorders, decreased vaccine response in children, more severe cases of Covid-19, cancer, etc.

Harvard-Westlake High School in L.A. plans to install acres of artificial turf. The dangers of artificial turf are well documented and tests on the specific turf to be used reveal levels of PFAS well above state and federal health advisories. Leran more: ow.ly/Axac50LeBVt

What causes a consistent ball hop? 1. Quality infield mix with an SCR between 0.5-1.0 2. Proper compaction 3. Proper moisture in the upper layer When you put these three ingredients together, you get a safer, more playable infield. #EngineeredSoils #TheDuraEdgeDifference

Synthetic turf in Florida in…April. Between 140-150 degrees today. These HS fields going to synthetic turf are going to be in for a rude awakening.

Why should we only talk about Earth one day each year? Here’s a challenge to you. Think about all the ways you use water in your life. Consider, would your life change if you had to use 50% less water over night? If you had to use 85% less overnight? #water #earthday #think – at San Diego, CA

There is absolutely no reason to continue to promote plastic fake green when real grass is always less expensive. Multiple University studies have proven that real green is less expensive when compared on a 10 year study. Maintenance included.
